Andrea moves behind Daniel and sprays the shadow with holy water.
Holy water touch attack: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (1) + 11 = 122d4 ⇒ (4, 1) = 5
She instead, cracks Daniel over the head it the bottle. :p
Orsino 'Orsin' Bessatte
Orsin you can't take a 5 ft step and move in the same round. I will let you move backward 5 ft as move action, then use your standard action to move forward if you like. If that is ok, tell me which hex you want to move into as your std action.
Wow, massive brain fart for making such a rookie mistake. In that case, yeah, swapping out my standard for a move, I'll arrive in F,10, I can move further from there if need be.
Using his standard action to inspire courage (thank you, Baldwin!), Orsin's aria takes an unexpected subito piano, before spinning into a deadly cresendo as a visible wave of sound assails the shadow at the end.
Ear-Piercing Scream: 5d6 ⇒ (5, 2, 2, 1, 4) = 14
Wish I had some force damage in my arsenal right about now...
Orsino 'Orsin' Bessatte
Alas, would that I had it. I was hoping that dispersing the group a little would get me into the melee, but I don't want to cut Daniel off. Plus, I don't have Blindfight, so I'm at a huge disadvantage against concealment. Such tricky monsters you throw at us Baldwin!
Daniel Arrisen
The shadow that was attacking him destroyed, Daniel backs up again, wanting to scream at Gerard to get out of the way.

In Round 3, Orsin moves to H,10, attacking the remaining shade from the corner of the threshold.
Concealment: 1d100 ⇒ 80
Power Attack: 1d20 + 12 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 12 + 2 + 2 = 30
Damage: 1d8 + 18 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 18 + 2 = 24
Down two rounds of bardic performance. Daniel, let's end this shadow, shall we?

All you Bra! I'm all pinkies!
Orsino 'Orsin' Bessatte
Orsin releases a manly, red-faced roar as he is bathed in the bloody shadow-stuff of his enemies. The battlecry twists into bellows of savage laughter as the shadow fades before him. A moment later, he clears his throat and dusts himself off, looking to the group with large, dopey doe-eyes.

Again, the rogue tries... and again, in silence.

Thankyou, Andrea.
The paladin makes the sign of the sword. Then nods towards the door and follows the Rogue again.

The stench of sweat and filth is strong in this musty chamber. A few wall sconces provide a feeble, guttering light, illuminating what seems to be a workhouse of some sort, complete with numerous workbenches for crafting weapons and armor and clothing. Along the wall sit what appear to be numerous wooden coffins, stacked five high in places.
There is a dark-haired beautiful woman standing over a book, attending her are six shadows floating around the room. As Gerard looks inside he sees her wicked smile with long pearly fangs. She suddenly disappears.
The blue haloed creature is the vampire that is the location she was in before turning invisible.

Daniel uses DETECT EVIL as a move action, and when he sees her aura moves in.
I am seeing 6 enemies on the map

Daniel holds then and just Detects magic.
The paladin backs up to Andrea and Em. Fireball! Channel!
Orsino 'Orsin' Bessatte
"It's not tactical, but this is the best I've got!" Orsin reaches into his handy haversack retrieving a scroll of wall of fire. He intones the words hastily as the scroll disintegrates in his hands, turning to embers with the utterance of each new word. Springing to life before him, a strip of orange and purple flames crawls along the ground, burning the webbing and two of the shadows. Orsin ceases concentration on the spell almost immediately to let the flames die away.
The wall is 5-feet wide, 20-feet high, and 20-feet long, occupying squares J,11 through N,11.
The shadows don't get a saving throw to avoid the following fire damage. Fire damage: 2d6 + 7 ⇒ (2, 5) + 7 = 14
Orsino 'Orsin' Bessatte
OOPS. Completely forgot. I imagine Orsin would recall that before trying to cast the spell, as his shout to the others would be silenced.
Might I reconsider my action?

Orsin pulls out the scroll speaking to himself, then he realizes he can't hear his voice, and he remembers the silence spell is in effect.
You cast the silence spell through your wand, you can dismiss the spell with standard action.
Orsino 'Orsin' Bessatte
Curses, the silence spell is still in effect! Think, Bessatte, think! Wait, that was my silence spell! I could dismiss it, but fetching it will take next to forever, and I'll have to put away my sword unless...That's it!
Orsin bites onto the corner of the scroll, using his mouth as an extra hand. Using his now-free hand, the bard reaches into his haversack once more, only this time retrieving the wand of silence he used before.
I used my standard to retrieve my wand as a second move action.
OR, if I don't need the wand, I'll just use my standard to dismiss the spell.

The game thread is moving at snails pace the last few days ( know we all get busy in RL), fair warning I'm going to DMPC to move things along this afternoon. I really want to finish this book soon.
You would go utterly nuts in TarkTx's game. 2+ Years and they are just at the end of book 2

RD 1: Actions
Daniel steps into the first cavern to provide the others some more space to operate.
The thought of so many shadows and feeling helpless gets Gerard to move back (E, 10) to permit those that can do damage to do so.
Orsin dismisses the silence.
Phem moves to H,10 and drops a fireball on the webbing. (I didn't see a fireball on your spell list but you mentioned it in the discussion thread)
Jarvis moves backward to give more space to the others.
This leaves some room for Andrea to act.
*Andrea is up then the shadows.
