You have died and the gods have decided for one reason or another to give you another chance. This chance is to start anew as you are with a special ability in a mystical world of monsters and adventure.

It is an Isekai game, a reference to a situation in which characters find themselves transported to an alternate dimension or universe.

She forgoes the original plans and goes invisible. She slides up next to Ed and taps the gnoll next to her making herself visible and the main target again!

Round 7

"Serill stay to the left please..." He states as he takes a step back and turns to face down the hallway. The arrow takes on a glowing golden hue and holds it for 5 seconds as the light intensifies. Then he lets it go and the arrow and the path it takes leaves behind the same light. Then it explodes out like a lightning bolt.

Serill and Jellena:
You see the arrow goes through the three gnolls like they are butter.

He stumbles a bit after the attack but stays standing.


Round 6

John withdraws. Joe slices deep into the orc before him taking it down. Delman's two arrows hit their mark taking down another orc. Serill casts a spell of protection and moves down the hallway beside the dead bodies of gnolls. Niversal swings his sword and hits the yellow garbed orc who just grins at you as blood runs down his chest from the wound.

The winged creature looks like it might start to come into melee but twenty arrows stick into its back and it slumps dead to the ground. You can hear more arrows had struck the railing.

Merlin flies over the railing and lands off to the side and smiles, releasing a bunch of magic missiles into the body that just became a pin cushion.

Jellena swings into a gnoll and hurts it but is swarmed by all of the enemies. Ed does his best to attack the gnoll...

Joe steps over the recently-felled orc to attack the green orc.

Brandon returns from his aerial search to the last place the angel say his charge. The crow familiar sees the talking hound large and near death, in a room full of blasphemous azura. Brandon flies dowen and touches the wonder dog with aid.

Serill moves forward 15ft., hugging the wall and calls on his magic again, crushing a dried bit of seaweed in his hands and blowing it towards the enemy as he speaks, "Kaden di jimva." A cloud of seasickness spreads out enveloping all those around Jelenna.

Using 1 point of arcane reservoir to increase the DC by +2 so Fort DC 19 or sickened for 1d4+1 rounds after leaving the cloud. Creatures that make the save, save again on my turn if they stay inside the cloud.

Round 6

I forgot to do the orc attacks...

The orcs don't swing their falchions. The three of them look to each other and the blue skinned asura. They each kneel pointing the falchions to the ground. One of them mumbles in common, "We give up! Mercy, Asura push us!"

Even with the sickness she actively dodges as she stretches out one hand to rest upon Ed. With a flash of crimson the dog is enveloped in a blast of white and golden light.

Serill and Brandon:
You would likely be the only one to hear her words, "I wish that by my unspent spells be used to empower the dog Ed to gain the Sublime template."

She just doubled its hit points!


John going to the railing!:

Looking over the railing you see that it is at least a 40 foot drop, maybe more. You also see the army of Lancelot spread out. A group of 20 or more archer with torches turn your direction with their bows aimed at you now... they don't fire, their captain says, "Hold your fire, it is a friendly!"

Markas the stableboy...

He had been given a path. The path was to keep him on the right path. As he was put to rest he couldn't sleep. He got up and tried to leave but the guards there kept him in the tent.

He strained against the guards but was too weak to do anything. Lancelot came and spoke with him but besides the few things that he had already told the group and giving the crystal to Lancelot he did not have any other reason to be helping. Lancelot ordered him to stay in his tent to rest and recover.

Should he be left behind. He will not be on the path of light...

He will become a thorn...

"You were suppose to be there for me, the voice said I would know my path by being with you. You left me behind. I will show you!"

John begins looking frantically around for a rope that he could tie to the railing and drop down to the reinforcements below.


At John's encouragement about 40 grappling hooks ascend to the railing, most hit and secure.


Round 7

"Oh let the orcs be. King Joseph is there need of my magic within?" She states and then asks with an uncommitted air. She double moves towards the hallway.

Her voice doesn't come from the hallway, rather more from your ear. She frankly says, "I have been in better situations. Four gnolls, four asuras, but I am at full hit points. Ed should be fine now too. Brandon boosted him before the fog rolled in."

As the archers move forward to support the king, Delman nods to them and states, "Please stay behind me or to the side. I can't promise you wont get hurt should you get in front of me."

Niversal moves next to Ed and pets him for a brief moment in round 9 not knowing where the enemy is he says very quiet Where are the enemy Ed holding the longsword at the ready in the mist.

You can hear a great battle as many attacks are cast as wings are heard as well. Not many of the strikes hit home. In fact as the mist disperses you see that the four asuras are solely focusing on Jellena, as Ed is having troubles fighting them. As one of the spears pierces her flesh in round 10, the wound is not bad and actually seals right up on her turn.

As the blue skinned demons attack Jellena they falter in their attacks, opening them to AoO from Jellena, Ed, and Niversal.

King Joseph rushes in save his oracle and attacks the yellow asura, as Brandon lands back on his charge's shoulder to offer his Lesser Protective Aura (Su).

Lesser Protective Aura (Su):
A cassisian has a lesser form of the protective aura possessed by more powerful angels. This protective aura grants the cassisian a +2 deflection bonus to its AC against evil foes, and a +2 resistance bonus on all saving throws made against evil effects or spells cast by evil creatures. This aura extends to a radius of 5 feet, but can only benefit one additional creature other than the cassisian at any one time. A cassisian’s protective aura is fragile, and as soon as an evil creature successfully strikes the cassisian, or as soon as the cassisian fails a saving throw against an evil source, its protective aura fades away and is no longer applicable. The cassisian can reactivate its protective aura by spending 1 minute concentrating upon the task.

After four rounds of no progress they speak in their alien language and turn to attack those around them not the oracle. The one attacking Joe, speaks to Jellena, "If we can't have you we will take your allies!" Two of them take five foot steps back and then reappear behind their targets. Then the other ones attack with their spear and wings to better effect. The gnolls in the room move to touch the statues...

As the last arrow hits it, the gnoll groans and drops to the ground before the statue. The statue shakes off the metallic covering and looks at Niversal with burning red eyes.
