Truk the Hammer
|
"It sounds like we're going in hot", Truk say as he struggles to make sense of the pages and pages of notes Las took based on the prisoner's information. "We need to move quick and hit them hard. If we do enough damage quick enough we might be able to scatter their defenses. Stick together. The last thing we need is to get separated out there. Morvius you're on the front rank with me."
The big orc's battle plan is accompanied by a series of nonsensical X's, O's, and long curving arrows on a sheet of parchment. Whatever they represent, he seems impressed by them.
Truk's using Squad Commander. When the time comes everyone will benefit from Lastwall Phalanx.
At 3rd level, a constable can spend 1 minute laying out a plan to activate the tactician ability without having it count against his number of uses per day. The ability must be triggered within 1 hour of the plan being made, and the benefits last for 1 minute per cavalier level he has. The constable can have only one plan at a time, and if a new plan is made, any old plan is lost.

Las discusses the idea of using silent image as a distraction during the assault.
"We could project an image of a fire on the far side of the base..."
Morvius Eruthiel

"B-bottomlands like this are wet enough that a, a fire would smoke a lot. Hard to match that with just a figment."
Morvius will cast mage armor on himself from a wand.

Lajas drinks his extracts, as you approach, he looks to be standing perfectly still. The narrow hidden branch of the West Sellen swells to a wide expanse, bordered on one side by a high, forested islet. The other side of the river has no bank, for the water seeps into the ground and creates a broad wetland out of what were once low-lying filds. Cattails and grasses push through the surface and continue of into the distance. Declaring where river ends and marsh begins would involve either lucky guesswork or a surveyor’s eye. Straddling the border between river and swamp are the remains of a sumptuous house, yet despite the facade’s once elegant style and trim, the place has seen better days. The paint is faded and peeling, blending in so well with a growth of mold that the place may as well have been originally painted murky gray green. Vines and creepers are less overgrowing the place than they seem to be holding it together. Other parts of the building have fared less well, and toppled beams jutting from the swamp hint at other wings that didn’t survive the river’s encroachment. Stilts and a narrow boardwalk support what little remains, and a makeshift dock extends into the river proper.

You are able to approach and get onto the dock before the sailors on guard duty notice you. One begins reaching for a bell.
A has not noticed you yet, so Truk is up!
| DM Amazing Red |
Truk barks out his orders putting his brillant plan into action. One sailor rings a bell alerting any other guards within hearing distance. The other moves towards Truk drawing his blade, slashing at the half orc.

With Morvius' Perception bonus, any chance he can make a Spellcraft check to recognize the spell being cast?

Just in case:
Perception check (add +2 if it's a human): 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (20) + 13 = 33

Pretty unambiguous pair of rolls, there.

Sorry, were we able to rest before coming here? I didn't see whether I was able to regain spells.
