Going back for my spear and shield Rearming. 2 move actions

Shadowrun312 |

Round 5 extended: Hung, Thasitalia, Since the Ogre is down after Vernonia shot do you still wish to attack the Ogre? If not Please repost your actions.

Thasitalia |

Ogre 1 and 2 are down? If so Thasitalia readies to use her acid dart if another active ogre comes within range.

Madam Zorza |

"The male ogres are down, awaiting coup de grâce. The female ogre (a witch's apprentice) is alive and either putting out fires or finishing a big spell. Be careful. She is probably tougher than her brothers. She is in the house."

Hung Dong 2 |

After the two Orges go down Hung Dong yells
"Forward!!!"
Hung Dong the moves slowly and stealthily into the house confronts the female Oger.
Stealth: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
"Surrender or be destroyed as your male counter parts were"

Shadowrun312 |

”Thanks Zorza, forgot the Round 5 tag. Thasitalia, thanks for clearing that up, I overlooked that. I’ll add 1 point back to his total damage received.”

Round 5
Vernonia Shoots another arrow at the Ogre 2 delivering the killing blow as the Ogre 2 reels in pain as he lets out a dying roar that echoes through the woods. Clearly it was loud enough that if mother was near she would hear it.
Hung approaches the inside room after the witch Ogre who has apparently fought off the Unseen Servant at the cost of her boiling pot of water that now spreads over the ground, though hot enough to burn flesh it doesn’t appear to be damaging the house. It does however appear to be blocking your entrance into the Ogre Witch room.
Aerek is now able to stand though much of his life is barely holding on.
Zorza, you managed to climb to the roof, though it takes you two move actions to both approach the building and climb the roof. It will also take you 1 round to punch a hole into the roof top, while it is very old, it still strong enough to support your weight and will require a little effort to break through.
Thasitalia holds her Acid Spell for another Ogre.
Qalifa moves back to his weapons and armor to reclaim them and prep his defense.
Ogre 1 and 2 lay down upon the ground bleeding out slowly.
Ogre Witch seems to have handled whatever it was that was going on in the back, though she seems really mad. A few moments before the Last Ogre Dropped you heard a loud splash, and lots of steam comes bellowing out from the back room. The Ogre Witch is using the large Cauldron as a place of cover while steaming hot stew fill majority of the room blocking the entrance. You can see assortments of bones from rats to human remains covering the entire place where the stew has spread.
The sickening effect has ended, unless you’re in the room with the Witch, at which point you need to make an additional save regardless if you were sickened or not to become nauseated at the sight of cooked human/elf etc remains. If you passed the Sickening save you don’t have to save again, but if you failed the first time and enter the room you have to make 2 saves, one for Sickening and 1 for Nauseated.
Pass: nothing happens.
Fail: “Sickened” The character takes a –2 penalty on all attack rolls, weapon damage rolls, saving throws, skill checks, and ability checks. This last until the smell is gone.
Pass: Nothing Happens
Fail: Creatures with the nauseated condition experience stomach distress. Nauseated creatures are unable to attack, cast spells, concentrate on spells, or do anything else requiring attention. The only action such a character can take is a single move action per turn.
"Round 6"
Keep it up Good job.

Madam Zorza |

Round 6
Madam Zorza is pleased when her stomach settles. She finds the ogre brother's death cry concerning, but she does not bother listening for sounds of the ogre mother returning while stomping so loudly on the roof.
"I am not convinced that a cat would be nauseated at rat and humanoid remains. ;) The timing of climbing the roof and stomping seems about right. I figured I could shoot halfway through round 6 if the roof were shoddy."

Thasitalia |

Round 6
"Stop setting fire to the place!" Thasitalia yells to her unseen servant. "Clean up that awful smell with towels or a shovel maybe."
Then Thas looks to Vernonia, "I'll watch over the girl, you assist your associates in whatever way you can. We'll be fine as long as you all make quick work of her, but be careful, she must be capable of spells and rituals."
"She is cornered. Even rats are dangerous when cornered."
Thasitalia is delaying.

Qalifa |

Qalifa runs (140') back to the cabin to join Hung at the door taking Aereks place.
run move action 4x movement

Thasitalia |

Verononia please see my previous post, Thas is looking after the girl. You are of course welcome to check on her, but Im thinking you might have overlooked Thas talking to Vern.

Vernonia Banks |

I want to make sure that she is not dying. I have one CLW if she needs it. After I check on her I will head inside. It seems crowded in that right now and if I don't make the Fort save I will just be in the way.

Qalifa |

sickened nauseated (I passed the earlier one not sure if I'm rolling once or twice)
1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 171d20 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7

Shadowrun312 |

If you passed the first one you only roll once if you enter the room. Looks like all but one posted, I will update tonight, working at moment.

Hung Dong 2 |

I thought it was you don't roll if you passed the first one
Fort: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7
Does that mean I'm sicken or nauseated?

Aerek |

And I'm okay with that. But I was hoping that since we have the girl, we could leave and recover for the next fight to come, if the mention of Mother is any indication. If she's nearby, we may have a window of three, possibly four rounds (if that), to put some distance from this place and get the child back to her mother. I'm trying to keep the mission in mind here.

Madam Zorza |

I was thinking that combat was inevitable. Even if all of us are wearing light armor, we still have to carry the girl, and you may pass out from a strenuous hike. Let us choose the time and place of battle and prepare for it. You and the elf girl might be safest with Zorza on the roof. You could look for large barrels for both of you to hide in at ground level. But perhaps we could risk returning to town. Let's discuss in character once the young ogress is dead.

Round 6
”I have to be more clear next time on the details of required rolls. The First roll was to be sickened, if you passed the first time you don’t have to roll for being sickened. However; everyone who enters the room has to roll to be nauseated from the rotten smell and cooked flesh spread out across the floor.”
Vernonia makes it over to the little elf girl, taking the time to quickly examine her over and finds that everything is alright; she was knocked out, or rendered unconscious. You could easily bring her to, if Vernonia spent a few rounds with her waking her up out of near coma state.
Hung just about enters the room but the unsettling sight of assorted humanoids flesh spread across the ground stuns him in place for 1 round, while he adds to the scenery his own puke, losing his breakfast on the floor he is a bit grateful to notice that the water would of burned him should he have ran across it to attack the witch.
Aerek struggles to even hold his balance standing, looking around but really unable to move far. In his current state he can offer little aid without additional healing.
Zorza struggles to put a hole in the roof time, apparently shingles and wood is a bit tougher then she originally thought, but she is starting to break through puncturing a tiny hole into the ceiling no bigger than a quarter. It will take another round to get a hole big enough to fire an arrow in; however, all that stomping seems to have shaken up the roof a bit and you can hear sounds of cracking below your feet and spreading out about 5 feet from the hole. Zorza since that the entire ceiling could cave in.
Thasitalia didn’t realize that her unseen servant was obliterated by the Boiling Hot water that was splattered all over the entire floor. However, she was taking good care of the child, insuring that she was safe.
Qalifa arrives just in time to catch Hung delivery the floor a wonderful gift. Though unsettled by the scenery he manages to hold himself together. Looking at the floor Qalifa noticed that the water is starting to cool, though he can still see steam rising off it. While it doesn’t appear to be burning the house you can see that the floor is being eaten away under the water as it settles into the wood, apparently acidic.
The Ogre Witch is hiding behind the tipped over Caldron; she can be seen but has partial cover. She pops up long enough to target Qalifa with her Third eye, attempting to unbalance the one who is holding his gut in.
Pass: Nothing Happens
Fail: -2 to your AC

Qalifa |

will save: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9 failed.

Madam Zorza |

"Something big is heading this way!" exclaims Zorza from her rooftop perch. "Could be ogre mother! She is coming from that direction. Take elf girl around to other side of house and get ready to flee. I will meet you soon."
Not wanting to cave the roof in, she stops stomping. Instead, she draws out flint and steel and lights the roof on fire.
Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14
Using torches if need be. Otherwise not.

Aerek |

Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9
Though he couldn't concentrate properly to focus his senses, Aerek didn't doubt the cat woman's warning for an instant. He begins to move slowly into the treeline so as not to draw attention to himself, lamenting the loss of his spear as he went.
Stealth: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (19) + 8 = 27

Thasitalia |

Round 6
Thas joins Aerek moving just as quickly, dragging the elf girl into the swamp. Wake up if you don't want me to drag you anymore, please.

Qalifa |

round 6
AC 14; ff,t 11 If flanking +2 to attack
Attempts to move into a flanking position on the witch with Hung. If I still have an action. I will attack with my spear
spear: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 91d6 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3 Flanking not included
Your fecund perversion ends here beast

Hung Dong 2 |

Puts one of hands up to his mouth and slowly withdraws from the room saying.
"Ah, I think I going to throw up"
How do you cure the nauseated condition?

Qalifa |

for got to add +1 for guidance spell to my attack so my attack would be 10 or 12 with flanking

Qalifa |

yeah it's a one shot bonus but I have to use it on the first d20 roll within one minute of casting

Thasitalia |

"Are you kidding? Do you hear the thing crashing through the woods? I've got to get this girl out of here."
Thas looks to Aerek, "Help me, I can't save her alone."

Round 7
Thanks to Vernonia casting a CLW spell on Aerek he is nearly fully revived at 8 HP, and she quickly follows Aerek into the woods as he makes his way in that direction.
Hung steps back to regain his composure and his stomach, but after a few moments he is able to pursue forward again, as he adjust to the exposure of such digesting smell and view.
Aerek didn’t catch the sound of the bushes breaking but took heed of the words of his companions and makes a stealthy dash to the woods.
Zorza notices the danger approaching and calls out to the group, but decides to quickly light the roof on fire, and one stroke the roof starts to burn.
Thasitalia works hard to get the elf girl to the woods, attempting to bring the elf girl back from unconsciousness. The Elf girl eyes barely break open as she notices another elf; fortunately, her arms wrap around Thasitalia and clings to her for dear life.
Qalifa makes his way across the stew covered ground taking a single point of damage from Acid, as the water has cooled but it still had acidic value to it. He strikes down at the Ogre witch, missing her but his spear glanced across the caldron as she moves to the side just a little, giving a nice thud sound. Sadly until Hung makes his way into the room there is nothing to flank with.
The Ogre Witch now coming to a stance and no longer receiving cover looks to Qalifa, which he can clearly see a club in her hand; she swings with all her might with both hands to strike at Qalifa.
Greatclub, Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17 ”Hits Qalifa”
Greatclub Damage: 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11
Clearly the Ogre Witch skill with the Greatclub was not equivalent to her brothers, but manages to get off a lucky blow, as Qalifia falls to the floor at -4 HP, nearly a receiving a concussion. ”1 point from acid and 11 points from the greatclub”

Thasitalia |

Round 8
"Can your legs carry you Suarin? I fear I may be regretting skipping out on all those rough games my peers liked to play growing up, because I lack the strength to carry you. You can hold my hand if you'd like and I'll see you to Ms. Needleaf." Thas says continuing to drag the girl.

Madam Zorza |

Round 8
With the roof alight, Zorza climbs down in the direction that Thasitalia, Suarin, Aerik, and Vernonia took off in, which should be opposite the direction from which the mother ogre is coming. She makes all haste to catch up with Thasitalia and lend a hand motivating Suarin or supporting her weight. "Silly girl, run! Ogre mother is returning. Run for your life! Run to treeline! Run with us back to Walking Man."
How much does the girl weigh? Another 100 lbs. would be a heavy load for Zorza, but doable.

Aerek |

Shift her onto me. I can carry her, but the three of you are going to have to get our companions out of the house before the mother arrives. And will one of you please grab my spear?

Vernonia Banks |

Vernonia looks at Aerek, "I'm on it!".
She sprints back to the door and yells inside, "Hurry up in there. We have to go now."
She looks around for Aerek's spear.
Peception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10

Madam Zorza |

Hung, this is round 8. Your last post was during round 7. Qalifa is at negative hit points, and everyone else has posted this round, so that just leaves you. What are you going to do this round? Everyone else is outside the house making their way back to Walking Man with the elf girl we came to rescue, but without your help, Qalifa may die. What would a paladin of Irori do?
