The tree is dealt with, mostly through arrows and stones and Plakka attacking hard.

The two groups, almost at the same instant, the next day, feel the sharp headache that requires them to trek back to the central pedestal.

The trek back is long and hard, and they meet up with old friends when they arrive. The cat and his lady are there, the stoned farmer, the green recruit, all forced to return.

And like before, they all fall over unconscious, shaking as the stones in their heads change color. Originally red, then orange, they finally shift into yellow over time.

When they wake up, the feline and his lady are gone, as is Baru.

All Goragg can think to ask for is travel rations that will be easily carried and stay edible a long time, so we don't have to slow down collecting food.

We still need to collect Acrette nodules, but that's faster than butchering and cooking the animals we kill.

That, and ammunition for bows, crossbows, etc.

A crate appears near Goragg, it's about the size of a small elephant.

Inside are small metal canisters, each canister contains 10 pellets the size of a raddish. There are 500 canisters. Each weighs one pound.

"THE COMPRESSED FOOD IN THESE CANISTERS HAS SUFFICIENT NUTRIENTS TO MAINTAIN YOUR BODIES FOR ONE WAKE AND SLEEP CYCLE. IT MUST BE ADDED TO ONE GALLON OF WATER. THE PILL WILL BECOME A MUSH THAT CAN BE EATEN. I AM SORRY TO SAY THAT I HAVE BEEN TOLD IT DOES NOT TASTE BY OTHER EXPLORERS."

Lilandra hops back in surprise as the first massive crate appears, then blinks in disbelief as a number of others suddenly pop into existence. "Well. That's quite a lot of arrows!" The drifts over to the crates once she's sure no more are about to appear and replenishes her supply of normal arrows and grabs a handful of blunt ones as well.

Once everyone's outfitted themselves as they wish, she gracefully sweeps a long lock of silver hair from her face with a gauntleted hand and smiles at the assembled group, "So we encountered a mountainously large egg at the heart of a stable hectate that our patron seems to want further information on. What if we return to that hectate, learn what we can of the egg, then continue further onward past the hectate in the same direction?"

Kalasin cracked a smile, and decided to help Abbas, he seemed like the nice sort. "More Healing supplies please. Larger packs for all of us, including Abbas. Pack animals and their gear would help in our travels and exploration as well. A well made longsword and shield, and a bow as strong as Abbas, if its not to much." Kalasin paused for a moment before she spoke again. "I think, Abbas might like his memories back if you could manage it.... Perhaps I could have a couple tins of good tea? A kettle and some mugs for the tea?" She hoped she hadn't asked for too much, but most of this was for others.

kept trying to figure out what Kalasin would want to ask for, and I kept coming back to healing supplies and tea, so shell ask for Abbas and some group things to help the party out.

A MW Darkwood Longbow appears (Str Rating = Abbas's str at Level 3).

Four donkey's appear, with packsaddles. They look around and make donkey sounds that sound indignant and paw at the ground.

A crate appears with 10 lbs of assorted tea, a steel kettle, and steel tea cups.

A small crate appears nearby with masterwork versions of her armor and weapons. A smaller crate appears with 100 pieces of chalk, 100 odd self contained ink quills (ball point pens) and 20 leather bound journals.

Abbas absenlty saddles Palakka giving the blink dog a reassuing pat as he cinches the appropriate straps. (Memory or no Abbas still thinks the blink dog is awesome as all get out becuse his player thinks the blink dog is awesome as all get out ;p)

Thank you Kalasin for your help...I...I don't know. If I should take the memories...I worry if it will be like the egg and take away what I know now...

Lilandra pokes her head from behind her crate as she adjusts a few straps on her new armor. Her eyes widen in shock and she quickly looks down to the ground. "Oh! I see- I see I wasn't the only one who lost their clothes. Right." She keeps her gaze averted and down to the ground as she adds to Kalasin's statement, "Yes, well, the person you had, err, 'backed up' is Abbas and he's still here. It's because of the egg we told you about - it erased Abbas' memories, but he stayed with us nonetheless. The only memories he has now are what's happened to him after the egg did it's work."
