Ulfr is just recovering from his rage when the Lady enters the room. He leans on his club (still covered in pugwampi innards until the remains vanish) with a satisfied smirk on his face.

Hmmm, need to work on my bluffing skills I think.

Sorry Uggy, I missed this >_<
Koriah arches a brow at the painted man. "Yes cause as we all know the best way to handle getting your ass blown up is to punch the explosion."
Back to the present.
The half-elf warily takes a step back towards the door at the lacy one's response, eyes darting between the each of the twins.
At the mention of the defamation of her table Sheila curses under her breath as she marches over to the inspect the damages. Shaking her head at the carved profanities her eyes catch sight up the now open box. "Aside from those horrible creatures was there anything good hiding in there?" she asks, her voice giddy, but she makes no move herself to put a hand in the box.

Ryn Mero |

"Who, what the....." Ryn says hving to force herslf to tear her gaze away shaking off the sense of vertigo. "It's..almost infinite!" she says looking at Sheila in shock.

Coming out of her excitement with a start Sheila will start to take the offered box from the gladiatrix. "Oh well I most certainly-OhbyAbadar'scoinpursethat'sheavy-hope not!" she says as she hurriedly places the box back onto the table.
Taking a breath she'll peer over into the container before pulling up her sleeve and sticking her arm in. "Hmmm, oh-oh my! Miss Ryn, you were right!" she exclaims while smiling.
"I'd recognize the supple flesh of a Succubus anywhere!" she says turning to the others.
Koriah's face goes beet red before the Venture Captain chuckles. "Sorry, I'm kidding. Now let's see what we got."
Rummaging a bit more she soon produces three little red gems, a beautifully made if intricate and cruel looking dagger of silver, and a simple ring with a repeating feather pattern on it. Adding another arm she sifts a bit more before pulling her arms out, empty handed. "Hmm, some interesting little baubles, but nothing too groundbreaking, she says while clicking her tongue.
"But I think they will work just nicely, as a repayment to you all for all the trouble my folly has caused you, and also for diminishing the amount of damge those little cretins could have caused my study."
The garnets are worth 50g a piece.
The dagger is a masterwork silver dagger.

You see, my flirting at least isnt near as embaressing Miss Koriah.
He offered the red faced half elf with a slight smile. He watched as they pulled out the boxes treasures and his eyes for just a moment widened with a hint of greed. Clearly the trove wasnt enough to retire and start his own house... but if this were just the first step into his future it looked very bright.

The ring caught his eye, the design with all the feathers tickled his memory and his grew wide.
What do we have here?
He began lifting the ring up and inspecting it in the light.
Enchanted no doubt, the patterns remind me of one of the rings worn by the almost famed enchantress and thief Telamina whom was something of a cat burgler whom 'terrorized' this city almost 300 years ago. It was said she could fall from any height and the magics in her ring would activate slowing her fall to a feather. . . I believe this ring has the same properties... Shall we go leaping off the second floor to see?
He said to no one in particular really.

Ryn has to stifle a snort as Shiela pokes fun at Koriah, the blush furiously rising on the woman's face in a way sort of reminded her of herself a bit. While the Venture Captain was proving herself to definitely not be a stereotypical noble, Koriah very much needed to let her hair down. She imagined that the attention of either of the twins would probably melt that ice rather quickly.
Her thoughts stray as she watches Marinah rush over to the tble to grab one of the garnets.'Yes...yes it would. Especially with nothing else.' Ryn thinks in response to her comment.
As Trendon suggests the abilities of the ring based on a 300 year old story, she looks at the singer skeptically.
"Uuhhm sure...you do that. We'll be sure to let your butler know if he should bring around a stretcher." she quips, looking back at the items on the table. She had to admit the gems were beautiful.

Andrezi Vhiski |

After coming up with nothing on the box, he moved to the back to let the others work on deciphering it. When the battle started he was prepared, but the others seemed to dispatch the pests with relative ease.
He eyes Marinah curiously, finding her enthusiasm seemingly strange and at slight contrast to the situation.
The tall raven black haired one mentioning a portal to the abyss gave him some concern however, causing him to question signing up for this. Wait, I didn't even sign up for anything!
"Did your carrier get waylaid at the nearest temple of the Savored Sting and just hand out the letters to the first people he met?"
Yeah, about that.
Andrezi considered speaking up once again, but he still wasn't sure what the hell he is doing here. Sheathing his blade silently, he crosses his arms and leans against a book case and while waiting for an explination thinks back to earlier sitting in the lobby with that woman. What was her name? Sorrynow or something.

Sarinah |

The joke about a succubus in the box caught Sarinah's attention and she said, "I want a succubus in a box, sounds like a lot of fun!" She realized quickly that it was a joke and she grumped a bit but otherwise listened to what their hosts would speak of next. When Marinah squealed over the gems she quickly went to look and cooed over them saying, "Wouldn't it though Sister."

Ryn Mero |

And if I am right? what then Ryn?
He asked her raising an eyebrow. After the wonderful evening he set up for her yesterday really? To have doubts of him already? It was almost disapointing really.
"In that case I'd owe you a drink and defer to you on all things magical......which is probably the case anyway..but"[Ryn responds with a chuckle and a shrug.

Your Demented Storyteller |

"Believe me, Succubus are more trouble than they're worth. Not as flexible as they think they are either." Sheila quips as she uses one hand to pop the knuckles on the other and then mirrors the process in one fluid motion.
Koriah, having had enough, groans before throwing her hands up. "Okay, that's it. Unlike the rest of you I have actually have work to do, have fun consecrating this room into a shrine to Calistria or Arshea or whoever you moan to when bumping bodies."
Turning on her boots she'll crane her head towards Sheila to give a prompt "Venture-Captain." before briskly leaving the room.
Shaking her head Lady Heidmarch only speaks once she hears the main manor doors open and close. "Oh, Koriah, you're wound tighter than some of those Thassilonian clockworks you brought back. And she works herself ragged nonstop-Oh, right! Work!"
Cutting off her other train of thought she turns to the group and addresses them as a whole. "Are you all still interested?"

Sarinah |

With all that had been going on Sarinah had rather missed the point of why they were called here so she simply asked, "Ummm, what exactly is the job you want us to work on? Or have you told us yet?"

Andrezi Vhiski |

Andrezi relaxes slightly as he gains the understanding that everyone here is also unaware of their true purpose. Standing behind Ulfr's massive frame, the slayer turns to the Venture Captain and awaits their true purpose here.

Sarinah |

"Then we'll certainly come here you out at least, won't we sister?" With that Sarinah went to go follow their host into the next room.

Your Demented Storyteller |

Stepping over to the door she makes sure there is no one lingering about outside before closing, and locking, it. Moving to the center of the room she then speaks, the giddiness worn away by the stoicness required of a Venture-Captain of the Pathfinder Society.
"First, allow me to apologize for that unpleasantness regarding the gremlins-but it does provide an excellent object lesson. The life of an adventurer is not one for the weak hearted. That you not only took care of the gremlins but also got the box open in the first place is all the confirmation I need that my gut was right-you're the perfect group for the job I have in mind."
"You see-I've recently had trouble with one o fmy informants here in Magnimar, Natalya Yancaskerkin. She's a half-Yarisian who recently approached the Pathfinder Society with an offer to serve as a street informant. She runs with the Sczarni-l'm not sure with which group," her eyes quickly glance to Andrezi, "A week ago, Natalya sent me a cryptic hint that her gang was on the verge of uncovering an item that would be of great interest to the Society. Since the Sczarnis' methods of uncovering something often involves an armed robbery or breaking into somebody's personal chambers, we thought it prudent not to press for further details and instead wait to see what it would produce. Suffice it to say, she hinted strongly that it pertained to Thassilon, and promised to meet with me to discuss this find three days ago."
"She never kept that promise-instead, she seems to have simply vanished. Initially, I assumed that the acquisition of this item was simply taking longer than expected, but now I'm hearing rumors that the Sczarni are looking for her as well."
"It seems likely that Natalya has absconded with this item she's discovered. And this is where you enter, my friends. I want to know what it was that Natalya and the Sczarni found. In fact, I'm more interested in that than in what happened to Natalya herself. For now, I'd like to keep all of this quiet-if you can find out what happened to Natalya without letting a lot of people know she was also working for me as an informant, that would be preferable-that's a big part of why I'm coming to you, as new members of the Pathfinder Society, with this task. Most of you don't yet have a reputation in Magnimar, and as such, the lowlifes and criminals you are likely to encounter may be more likely to talk. Those of you who do though," she finishes with a grin, "Give them alll more of reason to talk."
"So... go out there and look for Natalya. Find out what happened to her, and to this item she and her gang discovered. If you can secure the item, all the better-bring it back to me and I'll have a reward of 500 gold pieces for you. And if you can bring Natalya back alive for me to speak to, I'll double that!"

Ulfr Uggason |

Ulfr chuckles when she says that they don't have a reputation. I wouldn't say that of all of us. You hired two Serpent's Run gladiators. I recognized Ryn as soon as she clobbered one of those runts with that shield of hers. Shouldn't be a problem though. We'll get your girl.

Trendon Razner |

Any last known whereabouts or shall we tramp up and down the streets looking for her? What does she look like, in case she is going under an assumed name. He asked his somewhat lazy slouch had lifted for just a moment when she began speaking of the mission.
knowledge local sczarni gangs: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17

Ryn Mero |

Ryn grinsm giving Ulfr a nod. She's though he looked familiar, he was the reason they ran out of bears one time. "I gladly accept."

Your Demented Storyteller |

With Trendon's inquiry Sheila lets out a sigh. "Unfortunately we have never personally met, so I don't know what she looks like, other than Varisian. As the Society has started forging more bonds with the Szcarni they felt that having a double agent of sorts would be useful. One of the conditions for this alliance when Natalya approached us was for her to retain her autonomy and anonymity for her safety. We don't even know what gang she was affiliated with."
"For the Szcarni operating in Magnimar, the Creepers, Doolun's Lads, the Gallowed, theTower Girls, the Washside Wringers, and the Wreckwash Blades, with the Gallowed being the most powerful Sczarni family in the city, they tend to avoid getting involved in particularly violent crimes and in many cases help protect and police the less fortunate neighbourhoods, and as such are often well regarded by the lower class."
"When Natayla first 'approached' me with her offer, she engaged with the aid of a man known as the Amazing Zograthy, a Varisian who keeps a permanent tent and fortune-telling business in Washers' Row in Dockway."
Sheila moves her hand to rub the side of her head. "There have also been rumours of Nidalese slavers prowling the city at night lightly, but hopefully that's just rumours and spooky stories being passed about. She court also even have simply been picked up by the city guard for whatever reason, though since she ran with Szcarni they wouldn't really need one. If that's the case you might want to check out the Arvensoar."

Sarinah |

Sarinah considered the requested job, it sounded easy enough, and she thought they could handle it. It helped that they had connections to almost every streetwalker and jigglo in the city through the temple. Surely with all those eyes someone would have seen something. She looked at Sheila and said, "We're in, aren't we sister." While it was a partial question it sounded like a statement or command.

lol... and that guy. Nice.
Andrezi was slack against the bookshelf as he listened to the woman speak. He was not expecting any mention of the Sczarni in this conversation and so it caught him by complete surprise when it happened. His body tensed and he pushed up straight and began to pay closer attention to what she was mentioning. When she started naming off the various groups he nodded along, noting she hit the biggest ones. He speaks, breaking his silence. "Done."

Andrezi Vhiski |

Andrezi thinks about the sizeable coin associated with the task and already is spending it on new equipment in his mind. He offers a simple nod of his head once in recognition of her comment before stating to the group, "Let's go to Dockway." as he turns to leave.

Ulfr Uggason |

All Ulcr was really waiting for was the coin. 500 wasn't too shabby for an entry level, so he nods and finishes up picking bits of Pugwampi skull from his club. It was time to get to work.

Smiling as they accept her offer a through strikes her as they all begin to make for the door. Reaching into the satchel at her side she retrieves four small glass vials filled with a pinkish-red fluid and offers them to the group. "I almost forgot, when I heard all the commotion earlier I grabbed these healing potions incase they were needed, thankfully they weren't, and hopefully they still won't be later, but it's all the world to be prepared."
As the group head to the entrance of the manor.
