She grimaces her little dwarf face, apparently not interested and on her last shred of patience "You cannot invade our home and steal our relics and then expect us...help a lot of people? Have you asked him who his fence is? Murssvayas. A drow magician of the vile House Dhuurniv...!"
In the shock of silence you turn to look at Boltsmelter, who seems to shrug his shoulders and grin a little grin that seems to say Daaaat's meeee!" when suddenly a huge glob of white bird s#*~ splatters all over his face from above.
There is another absolutely confused, wtf moment as the dwarves look at each speechless and to you all before you hear a mad *CAAAAACAAAAW*!!!!!! and a giant monster with a bird beak and great hooks perhaps 4 feet long on both forelimbs drops from the ceiling above, and an army of robed figures leaps from the cliffs above to destroy you all!
"Forge-Knights! Assemble!" Kalda cries as they set up a defensive line and become surrounded.
Big ass battle here, careful. Will take me a bit to setup, dont trust map just yet let me roll init first

Elandil is glad he is wrapped in shadow with the sudden appearance of more enemies. His honor gets the better of his fear though as he emerges chanting words of magic. As he finishes, motes of light begin to form on some of the stone warriors and one of the horrors.

| Shaldinari Vec |
Taking a few steps back into the narrower passage, Shaldinari taps the power on her fae patron and allies. Matching her mood at having to defend Boltsmelter yet again, but this time while trapped deep underground, the tiny creatures that appear are much more malevolent looking. The tiny unseelie fae with their spiked armored, tattooed limbs and tusked jaws are in stark contrast to the sleep fae conjured previously. But the effect is similar as they swoop down over the genasi and cover them with a black ash like substance that causes those touched to fall into a deep sleep.

Furgis takes the opportunity of the fallen, sleeping genasi to move back behind Shal, keeping an eye on the book all the while.

Davin, important note if you are planning to step away. The hook horror has a 10 ft reach, which your character has seen in action. The disadvantage to archers only applies within 5 feet. So in other words, if you are just trying to avoid the disadvantage to your shots, you can simply move 5 ft within its reach and not take AoO.
| GM Infinity |
Davin's shot connects just as there is small explosion behind in the dwarf melee: a great ball of light resembling a sharp crescent moon formed of molten steel surrounds the paladin and releases tremendous energy...she falls but the blast seems to take the hook horror engaging their group with her...quite the sacrifice. At a glance it looks like only 2 of the dwarves are still standing against the swarming rock men.
And the rumbling of the earth is getting stronger and stronger...

Bhoors Dmg to Genasi: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
Bhoors sidesteps over to Cole and with a precision thrust, grinning all the while, the genasi slumps over on the slimy cave wall, dead.
The rumbling reaches a crescendo and the hell that has broken loose ratchets up by a factor of 1000. The eastern wall is sundered and explodes in a shower of pebbles and dust and bursting forth is an aberration with an unusually heavy body and the large, powerful mouth sitting atop its head. Its three long arms are each tipped with sharp talons, and its three large, stone-lidded eyes see in all directions.
It is ridden by another stone genasi who dismounts and joins the fray. The creature itself, perhaps sensing the gems that adorn it, go straight for Shal and Boltsmelter's Book...
