Aryn sees the ladder, sighs, and sheaths her weapon. She then moves toward the ladder and starts climbing at half speed.

Climb: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 1 = 20

"This is going to take some time," Aryn mutters.

Movement speed = 20 feet
It's 15 feet to end up on the ladder's square, which leaves 5 feet for the Climb action. At half speed that means Aryn went 2.5 feet up. I assume this will be rounded up to 5 feet, because each square equals 5 feet?

Atrix takes a moment to watch the closest goblin he can see. Then with a practiced motion he draws back his bow and lets an arrow fly.

Using move action to use Study Target on the goblin with the blue circle. Then firing.

Longbow w/ Studied Target: 1d20 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 4 + 1 = 14

Unfortunately, the arrow slams into the side of the tower.


Iron Gods: Iron maps;

The Frostfur clan arrives to the base of the tower as a compact horde. They push one another while Bloodgash pushes the door trying to break in.
Break door: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3 The door though resists the goblin wave without breaking down.

You hear goblin speech from top of the tower.

Goblin:

"He has entered da tower!!! Fast, don't let him climb up here!!"

While two of the goblins disappear, a third one maintains position at the battlements.
Without noticing the small gnome as he moves forward with lightning and nimble speed, he targets to the tower base and fires at Henrick as he sees him running down the path.
Shortbow: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16
Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 4
The hit is clean and deep in the left dwarf's shoulder.

As Aryn snatches to the bottom of the stairs, two goblins put their heads out of the roof hatch. The first one starts to pronounce arcane words while the second one aims down firing an arrow to the aasimar.
Shortbow: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11 Without ability to dodge while climbing Aryn sees how the arrow is deflected by his invisible divine shield when she was already prepared to receive the impact.

Henrick takes a 5' step south while reloading his crossbow, and then fires up at the goblin circled in blue.

We should enter the towers so they can't rain arrows down on us with impunity. They can't wait up there forever.

I double move to get closer to the towers and call my wolf back to follow me(free action).

Mido moves into the tower behind Aryn and begins to climb the ladder behind her as he speaks a word of warning.

Hurry they know we are coming and might want to dissuade us from climbing up.

Rutseg, has there been any activity from the tower that the Frostfurs are running to?

Artix growls low in his chest as he realizes he has no clear shot at the goblin, so he must close the distance. Breathing in the welcoming clod air, he rushes toward the towers passing Ruslan and Henrick.

Run movement to get up within the group of Frostfur goblins.

Wait mighty Frostfur, we will hit it together.

Break door: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 1 = 15 The goblins shout delighted as the door breaks down and they see the Iceetooth goblins going down the stairs.

The goblin in the battlements fetches a new arrow and fires this time over Corpselicker.
Shortbow: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 3
The arrow passes over the goblins' heads by far without causing any damage.

As Aryn climbs another 20' feet until half the ladder, the goblin with the bow aims down firing another arrow to the aasimar.
Shortbow: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21 Without ability to dodge while climbing Aryn sees how the arrow hits her in the shoulder.

Meanwhile the other goblin finishes his spell with a look of evil in his eyes.
Aryn Will save (DC 13): 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (3) - 2 = 1 Aryn feels a deep slumber coming to his mind. He closes his eyes and starts to sleep.
Mido Will save (DC 13): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19 Mido feels the deep slumber coming to his mind too, but his years of training allows him to remain awake and clear minded.
As Aryn gets unconscious she fells from the ladder, hitting on his way down at the gnome.
Climb by Mido: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20 Mido snatches with all his strength to the ladder maintaining his position over 15 feet of the floor.

The sleeping body of the half-orc though continues falling down to the floor of the tower. Luckily, the moody floor and the previous hit with the gnome softens the damage of the hit.
Non-lethal damage: 1d6 ⇒ 6 The hit awakens Aryn.

Once the spell is finished from later turn 1 assault casting time spell the goblin reloads his crossbow and fires at Master Mido.
Light crossbow: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23 making the gnome scream when the bolt penetrates his skin and the goblin jump delighted in the pain of his enemy.
Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 3

I and my wolf move into the southern tower.

Map isn't updated, but I want to try and hit the enemy goblins there with color spray if possible. Otherwise, acid splash (1d3+1) one. Sorry Aryn, Mido, I have no way to attack goblins 50' above!

Master Mido takes the bolt in stride and continues his climb up now accelarting his ascent.

Spend another ki point to increase my movement if that will help me climb faster. So double move. Action should get me to climb 40 feet and get off the ladder with some movement to spare for the round.

In an amazing display of skill Master Mido boosts himself up the leader jumping out the hatch into the tower roof. He lands just shoulder to shoulder to the startled goblins.
There are no AoO as they are using range weapons, and you have spent all your movement, but are "safe" in the top

Just after the door is broken, the Frostfur clan waits for their enemies to step in the floor. The Icetooth place fit in the tower, and without enough remaining time to unsheathe their weapons, the swarm of rival goblins jump over them.

Two goblins try to grapple each of the Icetooth goblins each other.

They are successful and a big wrestling ball starts to fight in the floor of the tower. Scratches, goblin shouts, bites and kicks are all you can see, without really knowing whom is winning or who are your goblins and whom the enemy.

As Ruslan gets in front of the grapple he starts casting a spell without hesitation. The arcane words form up strings of varying colours that shower the rolling ball of goblins.

Meanwhile the wolf closes up with the first Icetooth and bites him furiously.

Ruslan, I think this is what you expressed you wanted to do. I do it to try maintain the pace, but if you prefer to do your rolls, please let me know for waiting for next time.

Yes, that was my intent. If the goblins are 2 HD or less, they are also knocked unconscious. Additionally, stunned creatures also take -2 to AC and lose their dex bonus to AC, though the wolf still hit in this case.

Feel free to make my rolls whenever appropriate. Note that my wolf has combat reflexes and also gets a free trip attempt on successful attacks, although neither are likely to be relevant in this case.

Mido gets a better look of what was producing the light atop the tower. A small metal pot filled with a sooty, tarlike substance. It is starting to burn creating a plume of greasy black smoke that is being dissipated by a heavy wind. The smoke though is gaining consistance and will be seeable from miles a far bringing news of trouble in the area if not stopped inmediatly.
Extinguishing the pot would be a move action

GM, no worries there. The only thing Aryn will take personal is being called half-orc, and being referred to as he/his, haha :P

Aryn falls asleep halfway the ladder, and wakes up on the floor of the tower. She touches her head and feels the blood gush out of a nasty wound, caused by her head smacking against the floor.

With some effort Aryn manages to get back on her feet. She keeps her hand on the wound on her head, and mumbles a spell while she weaves some signs with her free hand.

CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9

The wound on Aryn's head closes. It's only then that she notices one arrow's still stuck inside her shoulder, and she pulls it out.

Rotten goblins...

Aryn places one hand on the ladder, takes a deep breath in, lets it out, and starts climbing again.

Climb: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2 Luckily the DC is 0!

It takes some effort, but Aryn manages to climb 5 feet up.

Since I can't quite tell what is legal, I will take a guess and you can adjust based on my intent to kill Icetooth 2.

Henrick moves forward and swings his dwarven urgrosh with both hands, intent on separating an Icetooth goblin's left half from his right with the nasty axe blade.

They bite him on his knees, legs, arms, tearing his skin and choping the now totally inert body. You see the two small goblins looking in bloody rage while they tear to pieces the rival one. You can see their totally unhuman expression of satisfaction on the act, while the blood and goblin skin hangs from their sharpen teeth.

Meanwhile, in the eastern tower, the goblins surround Master Mido dropping their bows and drawing their short swords while the goblin shaman moves far from the hatch. "Kill him! Kill him!" Master Mido reacts to the movement trying to hit the goblin as he passes by.
Mido AoO at shaman: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 5
The shaman casts then a spell and tries to touch the agile Master whom very easily avoids the goblin's hand as he tries to touch him.
Touch of fatigue: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (3) - 1 = 2
Then, the other two goblins start two attack from both sides to Master Mido whom is not able to properly rebalance after his attack.

Profiting the advantage of their combined attack, one of the goblins stabs the gnome in his waist, while the other obtain a clean hit below his right shoulder.

Realizing he is outnumbered and hoping the muscular Aasimar will join him shortly feints ever so slightly pretending to aima kick at one of the goblins but instead kicking over the smoking pot with a kick. Then the gonem raises his arms high in defense.

Henrick takes atention into the tower contents. Just a moody floor with some rests of goblins dinner and sleeping lair. What might have been a wood stair is know broken into pieces in the floor, and it has been substituted by a simple ladder. The tower though is of propper stone work, able to resist the cold icy weather of Irrisen.

Henrick, seeing the ladder, starts to climb up it as quickly as he can, figuring the goblins are not going anywhere quickly.

Sorry about not posting, last time I check map wasn't update so I had no clue what was going on in the tower.

Seeing the effect of Ruslan's spell, Artix calls to the frostfur in goblin. Finish them off, then stay here. Before moving up the ladder at a quick pace.

Accelerated movement up the ladder, double move if I have to.
Climb: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19

Second set of actions

Once reaching the top, Artix redraws his bow and sites in on the goblin shaman.

Iron Gods: Iron maps;

Artix arrives to the top of the Western tower. It is now empty. He sees Master Mido in the other watchtower fighting alone against three goblins. The half-orc fetches an arrow and tries to aim to the shaman, though he has a terrible vision through the battlements of both towers.

You arrived to the top and had 5' remaining but no standard action to fire, thus, unless you want to change your action, the arrow will be fired next turn.

Aryn climbs as fast as she can. With a double move, at half speed, this gets her halfway the ladder.

Unsure how to aid Aryn and Mido, I remain in the southern tower and search the Icetooth corpses for weapons in order to keep the Frostfurs from arming themselves. I whisper a brief prayer to Razmir to preserve the lives of the Pathfinders battling in the northern tower.

Standing up from the dead body of the goblin, Kallidur snatches the shortsword from the corpse while Ruslan protects the belongings of the other dead. Dunghurler also stand up and both starts yelling and intimidating the sorcerer.
"What da hell haf ya' done ta our friends!" they seem very angry and the smell of recent death in their mouths just makes them spur their uncontrolled rage.

In the eastern tower, the goblins continue their single combat against Master Mido. The shaman waves again his hand, shining in non discharged energy enable to reach the fast moving gnome.
Magical touch attack: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (11) - 1 = 10 "Stap maving pesky gnome! Ya wil shaw ya' true Icetooth pawer."
The other two goblins continue uneffectely trying to pierce the attentive gnome.

Aryn, you will arrive almost to top of the tower this round only 5' remaining.
Artyx, if you approach the battlements you can shot the shaman, but the goblins in the other tower have cover (+4 AC) and you have shooting to melee penalty (-4 attack) to avoid hitting Master Mido

I call my wolf to my side and snarl in goblin at the Frostfurs: They will live. There are still Icetooths alive in the other tower. Save your rage for them.

Intimidate (+4 size bonus, +2 aid another from wolf, +5 cha) 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (8) + 11 = 19

Looking at the growling wolf and then to Ruslan, the two goblins rear a bit, then Kallidur says "Ah, ah, dar is no reason to get angry. Wa' trust powerful sorcerer." Then they look at the goblins lying in the floor and get out of the tower in direction to the eastern one.

Master Mido retains a defensive stance knowing all too well that time is on his side once the large Aasimar arrives up here to kick some Goblin butt.

Henrick, seeing the current situation unfolding, changes his tactics.

I am not sure how far up the ladder Henrick got, but assuming he saw either the empty roof and no clear shot, or if he sees the Frostfur goblins leaving the tower, he will scurry back down the ladder and follow the goblins that are leaving (presumably to the other tower). I was originally thinking to provide cover from the second tower, but that no longer seems viable.

Provided Aryn will still not arrive top and pending Artix shot I think we can go for another iteration. Hendrick is 15' over the ladder

Hendrick jumps ladder down and follows close the conscious Frostfur goblins as they disappear in the interior of the eastern tower.

As they battle, the shaman is this time much faster, and though Mido is focused the goblin gets to touch him by luck. At the moment of the contact the magic in the goblin hand is released absorbing part of the gnome's vitality. His body though resist the energy leaving the spell to no effect.
Magic touch attack: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (20) - 1 = 19
For save: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 = 15

When the goblin warriors attack him with their swords, Mido fights boldly in his defensive stance, dodging attacks that otherwise would have hit him.

Aryn climbs the remaining 5 feet at half speed (10 of my 20 feet of movement), and moves into flanking position with Mido while drawing her cold iron greatsword. (I get an AoO from both goblins near the hatch.)

"You the one that shot me?" Aryn asks the goblin in between herself and Mido.

Aryn's hair turns white when she enters her bloodrage, and it starts moving wildly as if a storm's brewing. Her eyes turn as white as snow, and she raises her greatsword.

"Wrong. Move." The greatsword then comes down on the goblin.

As Aryn cuts the Goblin in twine Mido Draws forth a wicked short blade and lashes out at the Shaman.

Kill this one next! It's a spell caster. The Gnome shouts.

Artix focuses on the goblin shaman, trying to sight between the battlements. (Is it still total cover, even from the top of the other tower?)

Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8

If the shot misses, Artix will take the move action of this round and the full round of the second round to climb down the ladder and head over to the other tower.


Iron Gods: Iron maps;

Artix releases a good shot that goes through the battlements, but in his effort to avoid hiting Mido, the arrow makes short falling just in the feet of the goblin.
No, it is just normal cover, but you have also a -4 to attack for attacking to enemy in melee

When the aasimar goes through the hatch, the closest goblin tries to profit the opportunity.

damage: 1d4 ⇒ 1 Despite his efforts, the sword pierces into a strong point of her armor.

In exchange Aryn slashes the goblin in his back. His poor body fells down unconcious.

Next, the shaman steps to a side near the battlements and starts to pronounce arcane words. A flamming burst goes off his hands burning both Mido and Aryn. Both are fast enough to avoid most of the damage.

Then the last warrior attacks Mido with a poor strike over his head.

I don't think Henrick can get to the top of the tower in time to be helpful, so he will keep an eye on the Frostfur goblins that are not running into the tower, loading a crossbow bolt as he watches.

The goblins stand on the edge of the tower, and Aryn doesn't really see an opportunity to flank the caster with Mido. (The squares next to the caster are mostly air, so I don't think I can stand there.)

Aryn raises her greatsword as she takes a 5-foot step toward the caster, and swings the blade at him.

As the shaman is crushed by Aryn's Greatsword he screams in horrible pain and tries to scrash her skin to no result.

As he sees the body of his mate lying in the floor he throws himself into attack against Mido, whom jumps to one side avoiding the damage.

After taking care of the caster, Aryn moves over to the remaining Icetooth goblin.
