Please, be proactive during the game:
Be kind to the other players and have fun!

            Character name: Eveline Bleakrock
PFS number: 2205-17
Day job roll (if you have): None
Brief character presentation: Eveline is a stout halfling, and is easily one of the tallest women of her race. She has a stern gaze and a no-nonsense mentality comparable to venture-captain Ambrus Valsin. She wears a studded leather armor a bit too tight for her buxom frame (proper sized armors weren't available at that moment), and carries a selection of handheld weapon including a longbow on her back. She keeps her curly mid-length, brown hair open, though tied into a ponytail when necessary.

The boys are back in town, yeah!
Character name: Lionel "The Lion" Wynne
PFS number: 120549-2
Day job roll (if you have): None.
Brief character presentation: Lionel is a big, muscled man with dark skin. A golden earring stands in each of his ears. In his clothing, purple and yellow are predominant. On his breastplate, around the symbol of Calistria, are depicted scenes from The Book of Joy. On his head is a needlessly large-brimmed hat, purple in colour, with a long yellow feather. A somewhat unnerving grin sits on his face almost constantly. He is rarely seen without his spear, Love's Sting, these days, the first purchase since he received his first payment from the Pathfinder Society.

Just warning you, same as the other game. I wouldn't rely on a cleric with 7 charisma to keep me up and running all day, so play smart, please.
But not too smart, it gets boring.
Here's for fun times to come!

            Character name: Althera
PFS number: 85794-13
Day job roll (if you have): None
Brief character presentation: Althera is tall and slender. She typically wears a practical, modest, yet fashionable travelling dress. She seems a bit quiet and reserved, though not necessarily shy - perhaps thoughtful. She carries a staff, but doesn't seem to be too comfortable with it as a weapon. The ring on her right hand is in the shape of a serpent swallowing its own tail.
And thanks to GM credit, she has enough prestige to acquire a wand.

            Character Name: Reed Hofstatler
PFS Number: 73432-7
Day Job Roll (if you have): None
Brief character presentation: Reed is tall and lanky, his slender limbs possessing surprising strength. His dark hair is worn shaggy, his pale green eyes peering out from a tanned face usually covered in dark stubble. He keeps a veritable arsenal on his person, always seeming ready in case of a combat situation.

Character name: Demario Whistler
PFS number: 63386-19
Day job roll (if you have): alchemy: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27
Brief character presentation: a peppy Gnome walks in. He surveys his surroundings, he sees a familiar face. Lionel, what a day indeed to see you hear. Exploring bug bite you again, heh. I know, I enjoy a good exploration every now and then. I wonder where we will be going today?. He pops a squat towards the front since he isn't the tallest in the room. The name is Demario, I LOVE finding treadure just as much as I LOVE finding new friendships. I plan to stay in back, unless there is a door that needs checked

I have checked up your numbers and all of you seem to have a Core character, so I think we can proceed now. Perhaps I will have a look at your sheets at this point, so please, update them with all the relevant data. If you can add a couple lines of background even better.
I have send a message to Nigel whom is the only remaining to report.
You can proceed to the gameplay thread and start business with the Venture Captain.

            Character name: Nigel Mugfunkle
PFS number: 157271-6
Day job roll N/A
Brief character presentation: a short, skittish gnome comes into the building. He's still a bit shaken from his last encounter with those filthy reptiles. However, he enjoyed the loot and he made a few friends in the experience. Since his Aberrant nature causes most to look at him funny, he joined the Pathfinder Society in hopes of being with those who accept him.
BTW I haven't actually spent any Money or prestige from his trip up the fallen fortress yet. I will buy a potion of clw and two alchemical fires and three pints of oil for his lamp.

Nigel having Enlarge Person makes me happy.

Out of curiosity, in which time zones you all are? I'm on UTC+2, so most of the daytime there's nothing going on, and while I'm asleep everyone's updating.

That would be our normal time for it, until President George W. Bush (maybe 10 years ago?) mandated that it be pushed back in an effort to save on electricity costs. Cause, you know, arbitrarily changing the time on a clock makes things different.

But it does. It means that when I get home from work I can play outside with my kids.
In my opinion it's Standard Tme that's obsolete, Who wants it dark even earlier when it's winter and the days are short enough?
But enough of my ranting. I am on US Mountain Time, UTC -7. And I feel like I wake up to a flurry of posts. Still, I think the game is going well.

UK, so not sure which time zone I'm in, but I work 09:00 till 23:00 every day, doesn't give me much time to post through the day either. Can't complain about no posts, though, and I'm doing my best to keep up.

Yes, it is the last map from Hangman's Noose module.
The scenario comes with a small window of that map, I resorted to the original one in order to get a bigger one.
Unfortunately the map doesn't relates well with the true content and localization of the school.
Being a so many times run scenario it surprised me quite a lot no one has come with an specific good bunch of maps for it.

Season 0 scenarios, so vague it gives the GM a lot to improvise, and in turn creates a huge amount of GM variation.

I'm going to include the drowning rules here, for easy reference. I feel obliged to mention the drowning rules are probably the worst rules ever written in D&D 3.5/PFRPG, completely neglecting a basic autonomic nervous system, the instinctive drowning response.
When the character finally fails her Constitution check, she begins to drown. In the first round, she falls unconscious (0 hp). In the following round, she drops to –1 hit points and is dying. In the third round, she drowns.
Unconscious characters must begin making Constitution checks immediately upon being submerged (or upon becoming unconscious if the character was conscious when submerged). Once she fails one of these checks, she immediately drops to –1 (or loses 1 additional hit point, if her total is below –1). On the following round, she drowns.
It is possible to drown in substances other than water, such as sand, quicksand, fine dust, and silos full of grain.

It's a ghast, folks. It can't reform its ways, it can't do nice things. It eats the flesh of the living to sustain itself. Maybe the author has some odd trick up their sleeve, but calling this murderhobo behavior?
What if one of us was a worshipper of Pharasma? It's an incredibly popular religion on Golarion, and pretty much has a "destroy undead on sight".
Now I'll grant that every so often an incorporeal undead like a ghost or allip can still retain some goodness. And who knows, it may surprise us. But it's not like we jumped some random traveler.

While I do understand that from a gamer's point of view, Lionel doesn't really have that much knowledge about undead. Also, we haven't seen the result of the Sense Motive, and if that reveals what you just said, I got a bludgeoning weapon.
But I didn't know that about ghasts myself as a gamer, and Lionel doesn't know it either, so he'll do what he's doing.
Please do note that it's not an argument about meetagaming, you're free to go with Pharasma's morals, and I don't see that as metagaming, since in about 99% of cases undead are bad.
I'm looking forward to see what is going to happen.

To be fair all the author did was to place there a monster, he decided it was a ghast and placed a crown on his head.
But having a ghast 17 int and talking Common, I figured of myself I can try to have a little fun here and move him a little bit different than the typical brainless zombie :)
I hope I haven't cross any red line, but if you feel something is out of place let me know please.

Eveline's a sworn follower of Sarenrae. That goddess has quite the repertoire against the undead, in addition to Eveline's favored enemy being undead.
Although there has been a case of a "friendly" ghoul in the past. That's in a retired scenario however.
Personally I like Lionel's attempt on a different approach. A nice change of pace.
