So I had a question in regards to Starship turns and movement. So I get that your maneuverability dictates how often you can make a turn. Lets say that I have a starship with average maneuverability and a speed of 10. So I have to move at least 2 hexes before I can turn. Do these have to be performed in the rame round or can I carry them out from round to round.
So example, my first round I move 2 hexes I can now turn. Then lets say I decide from there to move 8 spaces straight. Thats all my movement that round. Now my second round can I perform a turn? i ask because in the previous round I moved 2+ hexes. Or does the distance between hexes only round for the turn you are in?

Rules as written, page 319:
"Every round in which a starship turns, it must move
a certain number of hexes before each turn, determined by its
maneuverability (see the table below). For example, a ship with
average maneuverability making two turns in a round must move
at least 2 hexes before its first turn, and at least 2 more hexes
before its second turn."
Key words for this discussion: "Every round". You must move before each turn every round.
Commentary: This doesn't surprise me, because it's a lot easier than keeping track of last round's movement. So it seems logical from a practicality viewpoint. That said, your idea is not illogical, and if you really wanted to do it that way, I don't think it'd break anything.
