The action economy required to use an Artificial Personality isn't really clear. I assume it's supposed to be able to Aid Other, as opposed to becoming the face of the group?
Can I have the AI feed m insults most appropriate to a target (Aid Other Intimidate) the same round as I try to Demoralize? Can it look up useful etiquette tips while I'm talking with some new friend on a weird planet, aiding my Diplomacy?

The AI says it can use those skills, not that it has to aid others. I don't think I'd let it use combat uses of skills, such as demoralize or feint. But out of combat where the action economy isn't that vital that's just what it does. I might imply a penalty for diplomacy with a particularly anti technology race, but otherwise no. I don't see anything that would generally stop it from acting as a group's face. It's going to be bad at it compared to a player with even passable ability, or terrible if the group doesn't regularly invest in buying new computers, but making those rolls is exactly what that upgrade does.

In the same vein, can a computer aid another with computers checks? What about engineering checks? If my computer has the artificial personality can I tell if to aid me in say a hacking effort? I would love to see a list of things that computers can do in regards to skill checks in general.
I would like a bit more definition on what exactly computers can aid with. As things stand the Artificial Personality only specifically calls out Bluff, Diplomacy, Intimidate, & Sense Morive, that's what that upgrade does. someone with access to the infoshpere or the proper data packet could of course take 20 to recall. But I don't know about aiding other skills. I'd say the stock AIs are programmed not to hack, that's part of what's unique about the mechanic's, so no assists there.
And it have to be situational on the others. What counts as aiding and what's just part of using the skill, like having the computer handle calculating in Engineering checks. I'm hoping we'll see a more detailed computer section in the Starfinder version of "ultimate equipment" when that gets put together.

But can a computer in general help with a hacking check? There are a lot of means of hacking in real life where having a better computer is helpful in such things. The artificial personality also allows you to issue verbal commands and have the competition execute them, so if a computer could help with hacking, the artificial personality wouldn't prevent it from helping.
I agree we need more info on computers in general and how they effect the game.

Hopefully we'll see some more clarifications. I feel like theyve intentionally focused on the target of hacking as being the important bit instead of what the hacker has onhand. Making it more about the havker's skill and less about their wallet. While this may be less realistic I like that it means the hacker won't have to constantly buy a new computer at the same rate as weapons and armor or become unable to do their job. It also means I won't see someone who's bought 100 tier 1 computers with an AI and - miniaturization that he want to roll assist with on his "brute force" hacking attempt.
