Can I enchant +1...+5 chainsaw in PFS? Guide says that I can do masterwork transformation , so can I enchant my chainsaw? It's not a named gear like Celestial Armor

Yes. In fact, there's a +1 chainsaw in an official adventure (you'll have to pry it out of a barbarian's hands though...)

You don't even need masterwork transformation.

For +2 and above in PFS though, you need enough fame to afford the full enchanted item, which is 10,700 GP or 27 fame for a +2 chainsaw.

As far as I know the only way to get a chainsaw in PFS is from the Iron Gods AP, and it is timeworn. In other words it cost a lot of gold and will eventually break on you.

PFS 6-17 has a timeworn chainsaw on the chronicle.

It works. I do really recommend against it, though. You're throwing good money after bad.

Yeah, timeworn items are not remotely worth the investment. While cool, it hurts your character in the long run.

Might consider having some wands/scrolls of magic weapon handy so the timeworn issues won't be as bad.

Instead of spending a ton of gold for a temp item have them to boost the chainsaw while it's still useable without dumping a massive gold sink. I could have worded that better.
