I got two questions for you all, the first is looking for clarification on what appears to be a misprint and the second is.. kind've ridiculous.
Firstly, Aether Kineticists gain Basic Telekinesis which functions as Mage Hand but can also scoop up liquid and move magical objects, cool.
The wild talent Telekinetic Haul allows you to lift 100lbs / level or if you accept one point of burn you can lift 1000lbs per level. Pretty epic, right? But then it says it also increases the duration to 1 minute per level.. Duration you ask? Mage hand has no duration, it's concentration and Basic Telekinesis doesn't mention duration anywhere either.
Does anyone know what thats about?
Secondly, what exactly counts as an unattended object? If there is a small beetle on a small rock, can a wizard cast Mage Hand on that rock or is the item considered 'attended'? The beetle isn't wearing or weilding the rock...
Normally no one would care about if there happens to be a fly sitting ontop of the book you want to lift up with mage hand, but what happens when its the party sitting on a rock? Can I lift the rock with my telekinetic powers?

Mage Hand has a duration of "Concentration" that is, it keeps up as long as you're devoting a standard action to it each round. If you spend a burn on telekinetic haul, for the next [level] minutes you won't need to spend that standard action, and the weight you can carry increases for [level] minutes.
"Unattended Object" is one of those things that you need to ask your GM about. Expect table variation.

Dunno about the TK, but beetles are objects not creatures (despite being alive) so they cannot attend anything. If there's a rabbit or a PC (or an intelligent beetle) on the rock, OTOH, then
An item attended by a character (being grasped, touched, or worn) makes saving throws as the character (that is, using the character's saving throw bonus).
is AFAIK the only "official" definition of attended (so the rock is being attended by whoever's sitting on it).
Hope that helps.

@PossibleCabbage That makes sense, if also making it super-power style powerful.
@Fuzzy-Wuzzy Would that mean officially if there is a blanket over the rock, no one is touching the rock and it can then be lifted?
I'm not too worried about whether beetles are considered alive in pathfinder or not. It was just a leading question to the "Can I lift my party if they're sitting on something?"
Our party roams around on a carriage and we've encountered a river, we'd quite like to bring it across. Now that I see I don't even need to concentrate, I'm wondering if it's possible to bring them along in/on it to save time while I swim across.

"Touch" in pathfinder (and in English) is not restricted to direct contact with flesh. A blanket will not stop you from touching something any more than gloves will, and you can definitely apply touch spells through gloves. Otherwise you could just have the party stand on the whatever in their boots and socks, or sit on it in their pants.
Having everyone (including you) get on the carriage/boulder after you start TKing it should work fine, though.

@Fuzzy-Wuzzy That's a great point on what is classified as 'touched', I hadn't considered that!
Some clarification would be great so I could know whether to pick this talent or not. I don't want to be accepting burn to try and lift something and have an enemy touch it on the way past to cancel the abilty.
