would like thoughts on a gestalt character

Advice

so im playing a gestalt campaign with feat tax rules.

im building a "back up" character in case my current character dies.

im planning on making an unchained knife master rogue/far strike monk that is mostly going to be using comet style to bombard the room from stealth with stupid amounts of sneak+damage.

mainly wondering what race I should be. im leaning towards a wayang or a sylph. the main issue is most things that give dex take wis.

I'm not sure what you mean by "feat tax rules."

If you're looking for a race with Dex and Wis, there are plenty of options.

sorry there not really rules but modifications that are encouraged.

here they are http://michaeliantorno.com/feat-taxes-in-pathfinder/

Comet style? Do you mean startoss style, which includes startoss comet?

Grippli are an example of how the race point system is not a good measure of how powerful a race is. +dex, +wis, -str, and a bunch of useful abilities for a rogue.

oops, yes I meant startoss style. the grippli looks perfect for what I would be doing...........hmmmmmm

Just some other options that I didn't have time to type up last night: Garuda-blooded Aasimar, Kasatha, Svirfneblin, Tengu, Asura-spawn Tiefling, Undine, Vanara, and Wyvaran.
