Looking to build an Ioun Kineticist.....

I have tried to find what you're talking about, but can't find such an archetype. Do you have a link?

If you mean a kineticist who uses ioun stones for most of their WBL, that's pretty reasonable actually and doesn't need any particular feats. You aren't using it on weapons or armor really, you have SLAs so you don't need as many wonderous things as normal to feel cool, so go ham with it.

For feats, kineticists love to VMC, they need less than 5 feats to be perfectly fine unless you run 3pp (Kineticists of Porphyria i-iv and Legendary Kineticists 1+2 are good stuffs) and allow those more class specific feats.

It's from the new Blood of the Ancients. It doesn't seem to be on either d20srd or AoN yet.

It has nice flavour, but for the most part is just worse than a regular aether kineticist. (I do however want to play one, just for the silliness).

There are some weirdnesses in it that may cause table variation - hopefully if this is made PFS legal it will get some minor clarifications. Especially as the archetype doesn't change the fact the blast used damages the thrown objects as well as the target. Rolling good damage could leave you Ioun-stone-less and unable to do anything.
