Jidai: I would have felt a lot worse about that, but I knew that the thing was more than likely going to fall before you died. :-) Trust me, that is not how I wish to earn my first PC kill. We can go ahead and assume that the party will work together to get Jidai out from under the thing, and in enough time to save her from the acid and suffocation. However, I still need a fort save, and how yall are going to handle things should that fail.

As gravedigger corrected me, 13 rounds is only just over a minute, so it is not going to harm anything to just "walk it off" so to say. Jidai.. I was very surprised when I read the specs for that thing.. and even cut its hp and speed down. That is also why I typed out the algorithm for the acid damage. Its a really good thing that yall spotted it!

After a while, Jidai notices that sensation and movement are returning to her limbs. Finally, she is able to stand and move, so the party continues down the tunnel. Sloping upwards, the tunnel eventually leads to the surface and you can see Janira desperately fighting the minotaur not far from the cave that you exit from.

The monstrosity teeters on its hooves, its eyes crossing as it attempts to look at the ax now embedded within its massive forehead. Before the Minotaur can fully comprehend what the "splitting" headache means, it falls over dead. Janira, blooded and winded, rushes over to Guntir and wraps her arms around him in celebration. "Guntir!! You wonderful dwarf! Henceforth, in all Society Business, you will be known as Guntir the Minotaur Bane!" Come now, all of you! Have you finished exploring the caves? Tell me all about them! Did you meet any Gillmen?" Janira prattles on and on as she leads the group over to the stream to find a convenient rock to sit on to trade stories.

Guntir; in all honesty.. I have played this probably about half a dozen times, and seen this fight go a great many different ways.. to include a *almost* TPK. I have not, however, seen this. A one shot kill of that damn beast is something that I never expected. Good Job!!
