I'm looking at the new Dirty Tactics toolbox and I really like the sense vitals spell which is a Bard 2, Wizard 2 and Ranger 2 spell. I'm trying to find a way to get that spell on a class that also gets sneak attack. Does anyone have any ideas?
I already know of the sandman bard. and greensting magus with arcane talent to get the wizard spell.
A mystic past life samsaran works of course. Similarly there's a ring of spell knowledge for any spontaneous casters.
A divine hunter might be able to pick up the crocodile domain - hunters get ranger spells.
Since it's now apparently possible to enter arcane trickster with only a one level dip in rogue or in snakebite brawler, courtesy of a feat in the dirty tactics toolbox, it's quite a reasonable option.
The last playtest for ultimate intrigue had a fey background or bloodline for the zealot vigilante which gave them hunter spells IIRC.
yeah, good ideas. the samsaran one won't work for me, race isn't allowed.
My plan is to go into arcane trickster as that seems to be the best option to get sneak attack and magic, but I'm trying to find a good class to get into it with.
