So I use to be able to keep on Paizo and the comings and goings of Pathfinder. My wife and I had a child in March and I have been lost since then. I have continued my subscriptions not really opening any of the books. I have tried to run a Play by Post on here also not very successfully. I have really been out of the loop on the developments and of the game and mechanics can someone please help me. Thanks

You have the books but haven't read them, so I'd start there. Read them. But you don't need help with that. Do you need help figuring out what Paizo has done for 6 months? Read their blogs.
The game hasn't changed. You just have a few more books to use within the game. You could walk into a PFS game or find a group of players, make up any character concept you could have made in March and still play the same character the same way*. Or open one of those books you haven't read and make a character with that, if you want something new.
So I dunno what you really need help with. Unless you're looking for a babysitter so you can have time to go join a game?
*The only caveat to that would be a heap of recent errata - check the errata pages for any class/race/build you're thinking of playing.
