Weapon Finesse: Not a single weapon that a sorcerer can use is going to be boosted by this feat... save for daggers and rapiers if the sorcerer is an elf.
Mounted Combat, Ride by Attack, (why the emphasis on melee combat for what is still a clothie? A celestial clothie, but a crunchy clothy none the less)
Mobility +4 to a sucky armor class is still only a sucky armor class +4.
It looks like the path to good that such sorcerers are "being pushed towards" is early martyrdom via unwise melee.

Maybe they also receive a free weapon proficiency along with in the weapon chosen for Weapon Finesse.
I have seen posts regarding mounted tactics involving Mounted Halflings and Gnomes using riding trained war dogs or other animals like the Drudis Animal Companion to attack involving mounted charging attacks.

Humans get a free weapon proficiency. Elves can take the rapier. All sorcerers are proficient with all simple weapons, which includes daggers, light maces and sickles.

What is a clothie?
Mobility +4 to a sucky armor class is still only a sucky armor class +4.
So how would you improve their AC? I really don't understand this one. Are you suggesting that you don't engage in melee ever if you are a sorcerer and therefore would rather nobody else did either?

Clothie is term used for those folks who wear little to no armor. (in MMORGS they just wear cloth, hence the term ) The question is why should the celestial sorcerer be focused so much on melee combat? Remeber that unlike the Druid, they have both a practically nonexistent armor class and share the wizards poor combat progression.

You're right. but someone who's AC is going to be 13 or worse, really doesn't belong up in melee. If I see a sorcerer or wizard stupid enough to engage me in combat, he's going to become my first (and quickly dispatched) target.

Um they can use it for a dex bonus to that pretty level 1 touch attack.

I have no idea what the heck you just said.

Um use shield spell and have a decent dex +added hp of options in pathfinder and then playtest it before complaining, I built a sorcerer around his melee touch attack from the elemental bloodline, and with shield and a 17 dex he has the same AC as the 1st level fighter. Using the extra HP at first level options he holds his own quite well in melee combat. no reason the same can't be done with the celestial bloodline, in fact I almost chose that bloodline, (I also had a hard time deciding on alien, but in the end I wanted burrow)

What about if multiple opponents move and surrounds the sorcerer? Mobility as it is written in pathfinder would allow a sorcerer to escape from being surrounded and still cast a spell, instead of having to withdraw (an hope that he can avoid crossing to many threatened spaces).
