Took a couple readthroughs and some messing around with NPC builds to get how this class really works (Infusions being a subcategory of Wild Talents really threw me off for a bit), but it seems pretty clear now.
...Ultimately I don't think it tops the Arcanist as the most complicated class I've ever worked with.

If they had gone with the playtest idea of one spirit for every card in the Harrow deck, the Medium would have been the most complex class in the history of roleplaying. If I DMed for one I would probably have to make a table rule that if you are spending more than 20 minutes dithering I am just going to grab the deck and deal you a spirit. Instead, you only have 6 options and then ask everyone else if they are opting in/out of the group seance.
The Kineticist looks more complex than it is because of the way the class is presented in the book and because new terminology and inevitable reuse of existing game terms. (DM: "This item enhances Infusions." Kineticist: "Mine!" Alchemist: "Mine!").
I wish the Wild Talents were sorted by level and element instead of alphabetically. Or failing that, I wish there was a table that sorted them by level and type to go along with the alphabetically-sorted full text descriptions. I wish that under class skills it listed the additional class skills by element instead of making me go 4 pages over to find the two additional skills that weren't even mentioned as missing under the class skill heading.
But, when I closed the OA pdf and opened the Hero Labs Pathfinder character builder (it is $9.99 to to add OA) it builds like any other character. That character program is what I use for every PC and NPC and I am used to using it. When I choose an element the two associated class skills get added to the skills tab. When picking wild talents, kinetic blasts, infusions, etc., I have the option of seeing everything or only legal choices, so I can see options sorted by level (as in I can take it at this character level) instead of name. Because this character builder shoehorns the process into the same tabs used by every other class, I didn't have to deal with the non-standard layout in the book. After making a few practice occult characters, I have a couple of kinetic NPCs who will be taking aim at my party in a few weeks and they took about as long to build legally as any other class. Kinda want to unleash sooner, but I did promise I would use none of this against them until they have the physical book in hand.

One of the first things I did when I started building my playtest kineticist was enter all of the wild talents in a spreadsheet, so I could sort and filter as desired. It's quite a useful tool.
I don't suppose you could post this awesome spreadsheet? Because I just started a lvl 1 telekin/psychic in a Kingmaker game...

Yeah, if it looks halfway decent, your sharing it will make you VERY popular around here in short order.

It's nothing fancy, I assure you! Took about 30 minutes to input. Well worth the time and if someone else finds it useful then bonus. :)
Yay! Excellent job. An organized table that should have come with the book. Saves us from having to buy this data again when they release it as a deck of cards.

Amazing! This tool will allow you to sort through all of the kinesticist's wild talents, blast wild talents, basic blast wild talents, composite blast wild talents, defense wild talents, infusion wild talents, infusion substance wild talents, infusion form wild talents and utility wild talents, all without fear of ever getting confused by them again. ;P
I spruced it up and added it to my gallery so as to increase its exposure. Thanks so much for sharing!
