So additional resources will be updated on the first day of GenCon?
It usually is. More often than not, Gencon sees the release of a hardcover rules book that is player/PFS friendly. I don't think a Bestiary has been released at prior Gencons but I could be wrong.
With the printing schedule the way it is, the pdfs are available for review in advance so the team has time to determine what is allowed in the campaign. Why release a shiny new book and not allow peeps to use as much as they can at the Best Four Days in Gaming?

Oh, in case you are curious Hero Lab is also updated the first day of GenCon. Last year, with the release of the ACG people could play their playtest PCs at the con, but only if they had a copy of the book and had updated the character to what the published rules were. A player at one of my tables playing a new character class was using HL on his iPad. When I asked if he had the book he mentioned he did and that HL was updated to the books printed rules.
Learn something new every day.

Most subscribers have PDFs of Occult Adventures (some have probably received their physical copies, too), but the PDFs aren't yet available for general sale. I believe that is what he is referring to.

Mine hasn't even shipped yet... though this is an understandably busy time of the year.
<edit> *blink* 11 minutes later, it shipped. That's good timing! ;)
