vital strike alchemist?

When vital strike is used with explosive missile, are both the bomb and the arrow damage increased?

I don't believe you can use Vital Strike with Explosive Missile. Explosive Missile uses a standard action; Vital Strike requires that you specifically be using the Attack action, which happens to also be a standard action.

Even if it worked, it would only multiply the base damage of the weapon, not the bomb damage.

It would act as if you were hit by the missile and the bomb, not that it matters because of the whole standard action thing.
