Am I wrong thinking that The Halls of Wrath should be scaled to 1 square = 5 feet instead of the 10 feet as printed on the book?
I tried to search for it from the forums and errata but couldn't locate anything agreeing (or disagreeing) with me.
I'm also iffy on some of the other map scales (greed is huge maze of corridors of nothing), but as long as the corridor leading to the seven wings match the 10 feet width, I accept them as is.

Well, according to the initial description on page 290...
"Teleportation Circles: Each of these measures 10 feet in diameter and is represented by a complex rune carved into the ground surrounded by a deep circular groove."
The map shows them as covering 2 x 2 squares so I would agree with you that each square = 5 feet.

If you don't eyeball those maps, especially from book 4 onward, you will regret it. There is no room in the Festering Maze for summoned anything at 5'/square, for example. The same goes for anything with giants in it. Big rooms are pretty standard the closer you get to things built by and for the runelords.

I believe you are correct in that the halls of wrath are 5 ft squares. In addition to the teleporters, you can see that the Iron Guardian is depicted as taking up four squares on the map, which is appropriate for a Large creature. If it were twenty feet across I think it would have a slightly higher CR.

Aditionally, I would point out the size of the tables. The eating tables would be 25 ft by 12 ft wide! And the tables in the lab are 30 ft by 20 ft! Think about a 20 ft wide table. Unless you are dealing with giant sized creatures (which we are not) then much of the table would be wasted space unreachable by any normal sized person.
