Forgotten ninja trick

Rules Questions

Swift action?

Stackable?

As far as I understand it uses whatever action the trick you're emulating would've used, and is stackable if said emulated trick would have been. The only difference is using more ki.

That being said, I pulled this off the top of my head out of memory and didn't bother to look it up, so the likelihood of my being wrong may be pretty high.

Can the ninja stack forgotten trick as in using it multiple times to get different tricks over that few round time span.
Like could a ninja use a total of 6 ki points on forgotten trick to get smoke bomb, poison bomb, and choking bomb then use 1 ki to throw a choking bomb?
If yes, could that be done in 1 turn or would that need to be spread out over 3 turns?

Any other advice.... Can u dump all of ur ki to get a full combat feat chain?

My read of the ki pool ability is that all tricks that use ki, unless otherwise stated, activate with a swift action. It could be written more clearly however.

When you activate the ability you select one trick, and for the duration you can use this trick as normal. I am pretty sure that if you were to activate the ability again before the duration ran out, you could choose a new trick, but the limit of 'one ninja trick' from forgotten trick remains, so your previous one would end.

If that was the case, why would other tricks specify they take a swift action?

Perhaps because they didn't write it very clearly? I don't have an answer for why they wrote anything the way they did, and I don't know why forgotten trick doesn't state what type of action it is to activate.

Swift seems to be the default, so that is what I would rule it to be.
