He has 2 magus arcana that require a 12th level magus (Critical Strike and Maximized Magic). He has only had one option since level 12 to pick a magus arcana, and nothing he has is suitable to be in his 6th level slot.
It seem that they have calculated the benefit of Effortless Armour to be 2 points, not 3 (1+1 per 5 caster levels = 3, to me).
