Yup, ye heard me over there in Goblinworks land, wherever in the twelve hells that town be! Ye see, methinks me name don't quite work without "the Fishwife" ye know what me mean? Hath ye lot thought this through? Me Goatie's perty eynes fill with watery tears just a'ponderin' of me patrons calling simply "Buurz." Erewhile me heart been so calm, yet now me seem to be getting the flutters. Just the green 'ye know, not me nerves. Nerves of steel me has!

OOC:

Will there be a way for characters, such as Old Buurz, to have three words for a name? Maybe something we can buy in the item shop....or something the GMs can bestow upon players that desire this? This is the first time I've posted OOC using my Buurz the Fishwife character, as this is very important to me!

Thanks for reading,

<takes a swig of her mead>

Any of ye wanna purchase me magical brew? Best in the land, yup, it be!

Pretty sure the naming conventions they said they were going with allowed for Buurz the Fishwife. Last names can have a space and dont need to be capitalized.

Wow, what? That's wonderful news! Can anyone confirm?

I'm not sure you'll be able to include "the" in the middle. As I recall, it's a max of two names.

I think the concept is "the Fallen" might be a last name (ten characters with one space and variable capitalization).

You're right.

Here's the post from Lee that lays out the rules.

I have vague memories (or not given my age), but Nihimon for the actual reference! Or sometimes KC.

I find the problem isn't so much remembering stuff that was stated by devs, as forgetting all that was speculated by forumites and avoiding mixing them up.

so.. why did Buurz marry that fish again?

If they go with fewer than 12 characters, Buurz's still got trouble, then.

12 characters is not a lot!

I've heard through the grapevine that Buurz is a bit of a conwoman and the whole fishwife thing is just a front... I don't believe it though!

Any chance the 12 character threshold may be increased Goblinworks, perhaps to 16? :-)

Lee's post that Nihimon linked above says "10-15", so you're close.
