So Angels etc, are refered to as "celestials".
Demons, Devils, etc...as "Fiends".
What are Psychopomps refered to as ???
Psychopomps are referred to as Psychopomps.
If you're looking for a more generic term for Neutral Outsiders...there isn't one. They just don't either get along with each other well enough (like Celestials) nor have enough in common at a glance (like Fiends) to have a collective name.
Yeah, the neutrals simply don't have as much tying them together in the eyes of the cosmos to really have a blanket label for them. Especially with some of them being as opposed to each other as celestials and fiends(proteans and inevitables for example).

Mortals are the ones who came up with the names 'celestial' and 'fiend'. To mortals, the Good vs. Evil axis is a much bigger deal than the Law vs. Chaos axis, so they haven't come up with a blanket name for LX or CX outsiders.
As for true neutral outsiders, it doesn't seem like they can be lumped together at all, really. A psychopomp and an aeon have completely different motivations and actions.
Actually they have one for chaotic- entropic.
'Entropic' is an adjective, like 'fiendish'. What is the noun?

I hereby propose pompatus for singular, pompatuses/pompatii for plural.
The noun is Entropy, of course. Entrope?

What about Lawful outsiders? Resolutionists?
Silly as it may sound...this all comes about because I'm doing a psychopomp version of "celestial apperance" or "Undead appearance" for an eidolon...
And "psychopomp appearance" just sounded silly.....
Ah well....play the cards you've been dealt I guess :(
Thanks everyone ;)

I can actually see some cultures considering psychopomps to be celestials. :)
Some might even have a Court of Light/Court of Darkness duality thing going between them.

What about Lawful outsiders? Resolutionists? Just "resolute"

What about Lawful outsiders? Resolutionists? Just "resolute" "I summon a resolute."
"There are three resolutes guarding the door."
That doesn't really parse right.

That doesn't really parse right. Though to be fair, we kind of already run into that with Inevitables. ;)
We already have a name for psychopomps, aeons, axiomites, and inevitables: sticks-in-the-mud.
Resolute is the lawful template you put on animals when you summon them.
Same goes for entropic. If you're summoning an inevitable or protean, they're inevitables and Proteans.
I summon... inevitable!
That just sounds weird. Though to be fair that sounds just as weird as summoning protean.
