Warpriest Sacred Weapon Question

Rules Questions

Ok, so we know the sacred weapon damage is modified by size. What about weapon abilities put on the weapon that increase damage die on a size basis, or spells or magic items? I'm talking about things like Lead Blades, Rhino Belt, and Impact magic weapon property.

If you take one of these, will it go to the next size table or will it not matter? I know if you choose to, you can wield your sacred weapon using it's base weapon damage, assuming it's more. That won't change. However, it never specifies magic abilities that modify the weapon, so I'm curious as all hell. You use a large bastard sword or falcata, does it use the medium damage table or the large one? What if I decide to slap impact on that? Do I ignore the magic ability as a sacred weapon or go to a new table?

Personally I'd either use the sacred weapon die or the base weapon die modified by Lead Blades, whichever is higher. I probably wouldn't let them stack.

Personally, I can't wait until the advance class guide is out. This is one of those nuanced questions I hope gets answered. Thanks, that's what I thought, but i want other people's opinions on it as well. Honestly, the class seems like it was made for those high crit range weapons in mind, you know? Falchions, Kukris, and Scimitars ahoy!

as it stands you can only choose one or the other, take the sacred damage chart or use the weapon's die as augmented by your feats and enchantments. but feats and enchantments dont alter the sacred weapon chart.

Noticed the lack of love for rapier up there... but yeah, it makes the most mechanical sense for a high level Warpriest to roll with that ridiculous crit range. For the fun of it though, nothing beats hitting some fool in the face with a giant club 'cause your god said it was cool to do.

So does that mean a +X weapon won't bypass that specific damage reduction if it uses the Warpriest's sacred weapon damage?

Where do you even get such a question from? It only specifically states you use a higher damage DIE not anything else..your +x weapons is still a +x...so a +5 kukri in the hands of an appropriate leveled warpriest does 2d6 + 5enh and gets through all DR a +5 weapon gets through...

Things that cause an increase in damage 'as if one size larger' don't stack. The Warpriest damage scaling is not one of these things. Just as with Monk unarmed strike damage, you can stack the two.
