Sounds about right.
Terrible use of PP, though.
Terribly... awesome!
Jiggy's right, there are better things to spend your prestige on, but it's a fun application if you want to go that route.
I've retrained like 11 hit points thusfar on one of my characters, that's like getting Toughness for a mere 33 prestige! Talk about a steal.

I have a character who is basically a bleached gnome who thinks being suicidal is her last recourse to avoid the bleaching. Problem is she WAY too tough! (Currently 22 CON, + toughness + favored class bonus + shattered star item giving another 1hp/lvl)
She is a detonate specialist, and a frontliner all the time.
She pretty much is spending ALL her PP to retrain for more hit points. As part of the character concept, if she dies, she dies. Goal achieved. (I do keep about 2 PP on hand in case I have to re-buy a wand I sepent or something)

Yup, its a steal alright, someone definitively got robbed. :D
Yeah, all the suckers saving up that 16 pp to get raised. Prestige isn't worth a thing if you aren't spending it. Besides, I don't need to get a raise dead if I never die.
Flawless strategy!!
Note: the last time I played this character, he dove headfirst into a river of magma so he could beat a fire elemental to death with his bare hands. Those extra hit points helped when I was taking 20d6 points of damage a round!
