I'm running several friends through the new double-length Paizo module "The Dragon's Demand." We need one more player to complete our group and replace the one we lost.
We are NOT playing here at Paizo.com, but it is still a play-by-post over at a yuku.com messageboard, where I've run many games.
DETAILS
Characters for Dragon's Demand will built as follows:
BASICS
* 1st level
* 15 build points.
* Average starting wealth by class
* Maximum Hit Points at 1st level; Average HP thereafter
RACES
Core races only.
CLASSES
* Most Core classes permitted. No monks.
* The following non-core Paizo classes are permitted: cavalier, gunslinger, inquisitor, oracle.
* Most archetypes permitted. No dark/evil/sinister archetypes. GM reserves the right to say no.
[Prospective players are advised that the current PC's are: Half-orc barbarian, human rogue, human cleric. Avoid those roles, please.]
ALIGNMENT
No non-good alignments permitted.
FEATS & TRAITS
Most feats permitted.
Feats not permitted if it has a race, class or regional qualifier in the name (e.g., cornugon smash)
Each character gets two traits.
SPELLS
Most spells permitted unless the source is from a race-, religion-, organization- or region-specific source (e.g., windy escape)
OTHER STUFF
Despite being set in Golarion, this is not the Pathfinder Society. No eastern weapons or armor (I'm looking at you, kukri and four-mirror armor) or other eastern-flavored stuff is permitted. Ditto for anything that kills the GM's willing suspension of disbelief. No chain-wielding half-ogres, please.
BACKGROUND
Each character must have a complete background written for him or her. This need not be (and should not be) more than a few paragraphs, but should be enough to flesh out who the character is. Roleplaying is strongly encouraged within the game.
CHARACTER IMAGES
If chosen, you will be asked to submit (on the game website, not here) a full-color, full-body image of your character.
SUBMISSION PERIOD
The game is in progress, so the submission period will be quite short. I intend to select a fourth player no later than midnight EST on Wednesday the 18th.
POSTING
Please do not apply unless you can commit to posting AT LEAST once per day on weekdays and at least reasonably often on weekends.
LAST THOUGHT
The GM and current players are all experienced Pathfinder players. We DO NOT care if you are, though. Newbies welcome. What we do prize is A) A sense of fun and fair play; B) the ability to post regularly; and C) the ability to role-play.

Walter's wizard stats are mostly ready, but before writing the background I would like to know if there are any requirements for the background, like being from the city where it starts or its whereabouts.
You'll need a good reason to be recently arrived in the backwater Taldor town of Belhaim. But you can come from anywhere (within reason).
