Fluff rules question on craft skill (for Society Play)

So I want some flavor for my character. He makes decorated cakes, snickerdoodles, basically food art. So is craft(artsy food) legal...or would it fall under profession (baker)?

I suppose I could say its craft(sculpture) and say he works with food as his medium.

And before you ask, I was challenged at my table when I asked..so I to make sure I am not making an illegal character choice. :D

I'd say it falls under profession(baker). The Pathfinder rules aren't designed to go too deeply into profession or craft skills, so I'd say all baking falls under the same skill.

Since I have seen reference in-game to a Profession (Cook) and not a Craft (Cooking), I would say that it would probably be Profession rather than Craft.

If you want to focus on the food itself, you'd need a Craft skill. If you want to focus on being a successful food artist, you'd need a Profession.
