Snowball vs Undead

Rules Questions

So would undead be immune to snowballs as it requires a fort save, could snowball be used on objects to damage them ?

Also if you used the wizard power to turn a snowball into a fireball and lost the stagger the fort save would undead still be immune to it.

Energy effects only do half damage to objects, but they do produce damage against them. Hence, undead would have to make the fortitude save and therefore would not be immune to the stagger effect. Unless they are immune to cold damage, I guess.

They are immune to any EFFECTS that require a Fort save, if I recall.

The damage is not the effect that requires a Fort save, the Stagger is.

They're immune to the Stagger. Not to the damage (unless Cold immunity, of course).

Any damaging thing can be used to damage objects (unless it specifically says otherwise), but like Magnus said energy damage is halved.

The only thing changing it to Fire would do would make it do Fire damage.

To quote the Bestiary: "Immunity to any effect that requires a Fortitude save (unless the effect also works on objects or is harmless)."

So I think Ryn is right, you can't stagger an object. My bad.
