YOU add all YOUR modifiers (not your ally's) to the highest roll (instead of to your roll, unless that happened to be the highest) and use that as your stealth check. Your ally adds all his modifiers (not yours) to the highest roll (instead of to his roll, unless that happened to be the highest) and uses that as his stealth check.

Doyle the druid and conan the velociraptor both have the feat.
Doyle has a +9 stealth. Conan has a +13.
Conan and Doyle both roll a d20. Doyle rolls a 17, conan Rolls a 3.
Both Doyle and Conan use the 17.
Doyles stealth roll is a 26. (17+9)
Conan's stealth roll is a 30 (17+13)
Its damn near the only way to let more than 1 person sneak without exponentially dropping your chances of success.

There is an argument to be made for applying the common sense check. For instance:
Five fighters in armor have sneaks of 1 each. When they clang down a hallway together, going 'shhh!' to each other, do they get the best roll plus 1, or the best roll plus 5? Logic would dictate that they are not, in fact, quieter as a group.
Although now that I've said that I picture five fighters in armor with sneaks of -2, and now each one takes a -10 ... and that starts to make sense. :P

It does say you add all the modifiers.
No, it says that you add all of your modifiers.
If three guys with -5 Stealth roll for Stealth, and the best die is a 15, they all get 10 Stealth.
If a guy with -5 Stealth, a guy with +10 Stealth, and a guy with +100 Stealth roll, and the best die is a 15, they'll have 10, 25, and 115.

It's poorly phrased. But the intent, I think, is that everybody rolls, then you take the highest roll from among those, and each PC adds his or her own modifier to it.
...but now I'm reading it again, and you may be right...
Wow, that's a poorly worded feat.
I wish Paizo wasn't on such a tight publishing deadline - The technical editing drives me nuts but when a deadline is staring you in the face its publish and be damned.

I think it's just you - your buddy can't hide from you while you're watching him....You know, I never noticed before that it's a teamwork feat that requires you to
a) be using Stealth
b) be able to see each other. Is it just me, or is there a problem there? Namely that if your buddy is using Stealth and is any good at it, you probably can't see him?
If people are observing you using any of their senses (but typically sight), you can't use Stealth
That doesn't mean he can't use Stealth to hide from a third party - just that it doesn't prevent you from seeing him

I love it how the question get marked as No reply required.
What does FAQ mean?
If you search the forums for stealth synergy does it come up ...... frequently?
No, it does not come up often, and there is no way they are letting you add everyone's modifiers together. That is why it was marked that way. No, I am not saying the wording is great. I am saying the OP's definitely was not close to having a plausible answer.

Thanks for commenting wraithstrike.
So I should feel comfortable at a PFS table telling someone who uses a share teamwork ability that no, the whole party does not add +60+ to the stealth roll?
Correct. If they really want to argue about it they can take it up with a venture officer or venture captain, but I don't see anyone supporting that.
You can also tell 'em Wraithstrike said so. <=====Ok, they probably won't care about that, but I have always wanted to say it. :)
