Tanaka joined Lingshengs army at a young age and quickly moved up through the ranks. A strategist decided to create a new elite unit based off of the emerging technology of firearms.
The unit proved to be very affective but due to cost of equiment and casuilties the unit was no longer combat ready. Many of the remain soilders in the unit were assigned as bodyguards to top ranking generals.
Tanka though was temporarily assigned to assist the Lantern Lodge in the Inner Sea region as a emissary of Lingshen.

Hi Nikkei, and welcome to PFS.
Although this is the PFS board, I would strongly suggest you ask this at the Paizo Advice forum, as I think you will have a much better response. Although not PFS specific, if you state in your OP that it's for PFS a lot of us read the forum and still give you useful advice (when we can).
Just saying, you are probably going to get more varied/better responses there.

First thing you do when you can afford it get a scroll of make whole and/or wand of mending for the inevitable misfires. That way when it occurs you can talk nice to the person who can cast the spells or UMD them to fx your gun.
Also upgrade to MW ASAP. Best 300 gp a gunsling can make use of in PFS, you can upgrade your STARTING gun to MW for that cost. Not a bad thing trust me. Then start cherry picking a few rounds for DR critters. A silver bullet can be a life saver trust me.
Alchemical grenade/splash weapons are also good for gunslingers since we are good ranged types. Tangle foot bags are fun!
Also KNOW your rules on reloading and gun use, it makes it easier for the GM. I'm considering a CHEAT sheet for my musket master to give books and pages. When you earn enough prestige look for a backup gun. (Depending on your feats I would suggest a blunderbuss or pistol, I'm playing a MM/Grenedier so a pistol is needed for me to use explosive missile later on, so I'm saving up for a pepper box)
Track your ammo properly and be very good about your ammo accounting BUT do not forget the changes PFS gives to gunsmithing. The ammo discounts are Vital. Get a point in Alchemy to reduce your paper cartridges. And when you get the coin for magic think hard on you play style on how lucky, range, dependable will play for you.
