If you were asked to be a GM for a Celebrity Role-playing game and got to pick four celebrities to fill your table who would you pick. I posed this question to my role-play group and got some interesting responses, I give you my four, in no particular order:
Neil Patrick Harris
William Shatner
Seth Green
Bruce Campbell

Grand Lodge

Matthew Lillard
Megan Mullaly
Stanley Tucci
Nathan Fillian

Scarab Sages

Sean Bean
Sam Neill
Steven Seagal
David Thewlis

James Marsters
Neil Patrick Harris
Jason David Frank
Johnny Depp

Tom Hanks
Ewan McGreggor
Samuel L. Jackson
Robert Downey Jr

***But I'd swap all of them for the chance to have Quentin Tarantino GM :D

This wins. But only if JDF plays a Ranger.

LOL

Felicia Day
Stephen Colbert
Robin Williams
Wil Wheaton

Sovereign Court

Tom Baker
Christopher Eccleston
David Tennant
Matt Smith

Jolly Blackburn
Felicia Day
Vin Diesel
Christian Doyle (honestly anyone from Dead Gentlemen, but Christian seems like the most fun)

Although I would much prefer if Jolly ran the game.

Aishwarya Rai
George Clooney
Stephen Colbert
Tina Fey

Hmm..

Stephen King
Quentin Tarantino
Guillermo Del Toro
Tim Burton

That's easy:

Nathan Fillion (Just because.)
Felicia Day (I should not have to explain this.)
Wil Wheaton (He works well with the others.)
Joss Whedon (So he can switch off GM-ing with me.)

Sovereign Court

I kinda did that accidentaly, but they were local celebrities from my country. And all actors. it was the most fun game i ever ran.

I would have to go with people that I think really own the characters they play

Gary Oldman
Alan Rickman
Robert DeNiro
Ed Norton

We may not get to the actual adventure, but I bet the RP between the party members would be epic.

The Exchange

Jolly Blackburn
Felicia Day
Nathan Fillian
Zooey Deschanel

Dark Archive

Janet Varney
Robin Williams
Robert Downey Jr
Natalie Portman

Horror-based Game (Round-Robin DMing)

Mary Shelley
Bram Stoker
Edgar Allen Poe
William Blake

Dead people are cheating! :)

But for me:

Ernest Hemingway
Dashiel Hammet
John Steinbeck
Dick Francis

H. Jon Benjamin
Nathan Fillion
Neil Patrick Harris
Betty White

Interpreting 'celebrity' somewhat broadly:

Lois McMaster Bujold
Felicia Day*
Wil Wheaton
Jeremy Renner (in his 'Hawkeye' persona)*

*Okay, these two are as much about the eye candy as about the potential gaming coolness, but still...

Liberty's Edge

Patrick Stewart (And let's be honest, he can read any edition's grapple rules and you'd be all like "zOMG, Patrick Stewart makes grappling sound awesome!")
Felicia Day
Matt Smith
Rainn Wilson

Special Guest DM: William Gibson (because Hunter S. Thompson sadly isn't around anymore.)

Neil Gaiman
Paul Rudd
Natalie Portman
Peter Dinklage

Special Guest for Narrated Bits: James Earl Jones

Silver Crusade

Ian McKellan (who would be required to play a wizard, naturally)
Seth MacFarlane
Alex Borstein
Alec Baldwin

Yes, that's perfect. Big fan of Peter Dinklage. He makes "Game of Thrones".

Liberty's Edge

Danny McBride
Zack Snyder
J.D. Cronise
Jonathan Frakes (cause Wil Wheaton's too obvious, and I wanna see Riker as a bard, seducing left and right)

One should never grow attatched to any of Martin's characters. The sense of loss can grow exponentially. ;)

Dane Cook
Eddie Izzard
Robin Williams
Ryan Reynolds

The campaign may suck, but the table talk would keep you in stitches. I am not sure I am GM enough to reign Williams in.

Vin Diesel
Sean Connery
Patrick Stewart
Sam Neill

Roger Zelazny
George Martin
Walter Jon Williams
Steven Eriksson
Ian Cameron Esslemont

The first three played together until Zelazny's untimely death - I read about a great discussion between Roger's faithless chaplain and George's religious fanatic alien... I'd love to see that in person.
The last two also played together.
Having them in one place at the same time. Eh, one can dream. Maybe add Neil Gaiman to the mix but six players is a bit too much for me.

Terry Gilliam
Umma Thurman
Benedict Cumberbatch
David Lee Roth

Lantern Lodge RPG Superstar 2015 Top 16

Weird Al (bard)
Stephen Colbert (cleric or inquisitor)
Bruce Campbell (rogue or fighter)
Tina Fey (wizard)

Terry Gilliam (gnome illusionist)
Umma Thurman (kick-ass samurai/sword-master)
Benedict Cumberbatch (wizard)
David Lee Roth (halfling minstrel)

Archimedes
Sir Isaac Newton
Charles Darwin
Albert Einstein
