Witch patron bonus spells at the "wrong" level?

I was wondering what happens if the witch's patron gives bonus spells at an odd level.
What I mean by "odd":
Often those bonus spells are from the cleric list or wizard that the witch can't cast herself, so she can't just look the level up in the list. But usually it seems that at 2nd level they get 1st level spells, at 4th level 2nd level spells, 6th level 3rd level spells, etc.

But now, for example the "Enchantment" patron gives the "Unnatural Lust" spell at 2nd level. A witch has that spell on her spell-list as a 2nd level spell, but at 2nd witch level the witch can only cast 1st level spells (and the 2nd level bonus spell is usually 1st level), so is it now a 1st level spell for those witches? Does it stay that way always?

Alternatively, the Ancestor patron gives "Heroism" at 12th level, when usually they distribute the 6th level spells. However its a 3rd level spell, even for witches. (However in this case it might be a simple typo and meant to be Greater Heroism, which indeed is a 6th level spell).

Then there are some weird things like giving the witch a bonus spell at the normal level. I mean witches can learn that anyway, whats the point, but that's a different topic I guess

Yes, unnatural lust is a 1st level spell for the witch with the Enchantment patron. When classes get bonus spells from a specific list (sorcerer, oracle, witch, etc.), the bonus spell comes in at the highest level spell that the character can cast at that time. A 2nd level witch can only cast spells up to 1st level, so unnatural lust is moved down one level for that witch with the Enchantment patron. I imagine you're right about heroism for those with the Ancestor patron being a typo.

Giving a bonus spell at the regular level just means that all witches with that patron will eventually know that spell anyway, so they can learn other spells instead of that one. To my knowledge, no witch (or oracle, sorcerer, etc.) has a bonus spell list that is 100% free of spells already on their own list; a few always manage to get onto the bonus list to give it the proper thematic flavor.

They get the spells in order for them, so if the spell is given at 2nd level then it is a first level spell for that witch. This is just me extrapolating, and I have been correct with this so far on other classes, but if you want an official answer I would FAQ it. As for the Heroism I think it is a typo, and I will actually be FAQ'ing this post to at get that looked at.

Perhaps for the Heroism its supposed to be "greater" heroism? Yes? No? An oversight?
