Init 8, HP 56/56, Speed 30 AC 20, Touch 13, Flat-footed 18, CMD 19, Fort 6, Ref 10, Will 7

sry figured youd roll for him

concealment 1d100 ⇒ 33

I suppose I could have, I ususally think of concealment as being rolled by the attacker rather than the defender.

Telias's halberd smacks the larger man square in the head, dropping him like a rock.

Tom, I don't really consider there to me a magic 'language'. The language, if there is one, is a combination of syllables not germane to any particular language. The spellcraft check is more of a determination as to whether or not you recognize that particular combination of syllables.

There is no response from the mist-enshrouded figure.

Ryarg, Tom, Bern, Ragar, you're up.

Bern's already acted, double moving forward.

Male Half-Orc Fighter/Level 4/HP:36/36 /AC:17 /Init: +2/Perc:+2/HD: 4/4

OK, who the hell is up? Are we getting a new map?

Male Universalist, arcanist. 1

Tom waits for the mist to clear or for the spellcaster to respond.

Hey, I'm all of first level. Low level wizards tend to do a whole lot of nothing.

Okay, sooooo confused about the initiative order, etc.

So last round, Bern moved up to X7 and stopped. Ryarg got as far as U8.

Now for this round...
Ryarg moves up to AC7 as a double move. He grunts a, "What the hell!?" upon seeing the giant cloud of fog. If AC7 is inside the fog, he stops at the edge.

Bern will come up behind Ryarg. Ryarg orders him to circle around the mist, but the bear just looks at him quizzically. Ryarg sighs.

Male Half-Orc Fighter/Level 4/HP:36/36 /AC:17 /Init: +2/Perc:+2/HD: 4/4

DMJ: I will post my Second Round actions once I know where everyone is positioned, and what I can see. Is the enemy engaged with Telias visible? can I charge him? Can I see the cloud, and what squares does it actually occupy?

Perception: 1d20 ⇒ 12

Sorry for the confusion, folks. To review, here's the order:

Telias (acted)
Thuggish lad (acted)
Ryarg (acted)
Tom (delaying)
Bern (acted)
Two-Fisted (not acted, waiting for map)
Kelton (not acted)

We're in Round 2. The caster's spell going off was the end of round 1. Telias went, knocking out the "Thuggish lad". As he was unconcious, he was skipped, making it the remainder of the party's turn. Ryarg, Bern, and Ragar have yet to act (edit: Ryarg and Bern acted). A map will be posted when I get home, before I leave to go camping.

OK, so I lied. Sorry. Post-Bern map can be found here.

The order is Two Fisted, Kelton the mage, then the rest of the party again.

Everybody please give me another perception check on your turn until someone makes it.

Perception, DC 15:
The sound of pounding hooves can be heard coming up the main road. They are a fair distance away yet - perhaps just under half a mile.

Male Half-Orc Fighter/Level 4/HP:36/36 /AC:17 /Init: +2/Perc:+2/HD: 4/4

Round 2

Two-Fisted runs headlong into the mist and in a general direction towaqrds the back of the hoiuse where he heard Tom signaling for him earlier.

I'm coming Tom!

Double move to AH11 - I would take an AO for passing the enemy who I would likely not even notice in the mist.

Perception: 1d20 ⇒ 17

Male Universalist, arcanist. 1

Round 2
Perception 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14
Move to AH,14. Feeling a little exposed where I was. Dismount as move action. Keep horse between me and door to house.

Loud so Ragar and Ryarg can hear as well."Listen kid, We've just come from Nirmathas. We know nothing of what is in the house or why you are afraid. Now stop this non-sense and be reasonable."

I just had a huge post get eaten. SO ANNOYING. Ragar, did you read the spoiler in my last post?

Male Half-Orc Fighter/Level 4/HP:36/36 /AC:17 /Init: +2/Perc:+2/HD: 4/4

Yes, and I would just add the following to my turn.

Be wary! Riders approach on the main road from a distance!

Male Half-Orc Fighter/Level 4/HP:36/36 /AC:17 /Init: +2/Perc:+2/HD: 4/4

We still alright - no posts for close to a week?

Male Universalist, arcanist. 1

Not sure. No trace of DM J since the 9th......not good.

Male Half-Orc Fighter/Level 4/HP:36/36 /AC:17 /Init: +2/Perc:+2/HD: 4/4

I am tabletop gaming with him tonight, and I know he has been busy at work, but I will ask what is up?

Male Half-Orc Fighter/Level 4/HP:36/36 /AC:17 /Init: +2/Perc:+2/HD: 4/4

DM J spotting - sitting right next to me...busy at work, and is getting on it.

Male Universalist, arcanist. 1

Ragar, any word on our wayward gm?

Male Half-Orc Fighter/Level 4/HP:36/36 /AC:17 /Init: +2/Perc:+2/HD: 4/4

I gamed with him last night, and he is reluctant to just call the PbP dead, but he is soooo busy in RL work, that he does not know when he can get to it. A difficult dilemna for him. I told him to fish or cut bait, and I expect to hear something in this thread one way or another soon. It is a shame that we could not get a GM to pick up this group with something else, if DM J cannot do it because I really liked our dynamic.

Hi guys -

I think we're done here. It sucks, because your characters are excellent. However, instead of getting slightly less busy or staying even roughly the same at work, I got SO BUSY I CAN'T EVEN START TO EXPLAIN IT TO YOU. I'm not tired of GMing, I'm not at all burnt out, I just have literally no time at all. It's all I can do just to keep my place as a player in my weekly game with Filios (Ragar).

If I die down some - which isn't likely to happen for awhile, honestly, but if I do - I'll send you guys an email, and you can decide what you want to do, whether you want to carry on, etc. Don't check the thread everyday, though, because I'd rather not waste anymore of your time.

Thanks, and I apologize again.

Excuse me for popping in, gentlemen.

I could squeeze you in my game as a group if your game shuts down. As this game is one world, different groups.

here is it's RP Bar so the players get a feel for each other and to develop there characters
You can also view the bar to see if it fits your style.

Male Half-Orc Fighter/Level 4/HP:36/36 /AC:17 /Init: +2/Perc:+2/HD: 4/4

@DM Azure_Zero: Ragar is played by yours truly, Filios. I already have Hack in your RP. I would be glad to keep this group together as an entry there, but that would be your call. Maybe just the other three could come on board.

@Companions: I recommend the thread and Azure_Zero - very good Homebrew, from what I can tell so far.

As for Hack and Ragar, We'll see how things unfold.

I am quite willing to hold out as long as I need to. I hope things at work etc. find a good level. I'll be keeping an odd eye on this thread for when, not if mind you, when you come back. Drop a line every couple of months or so to let us know how things are going and I expect all or most of us will be here.

Thanks for letting us know what is up. Remember we are in this game together, no such thing as too much communication.

Catch you on the flip side
Tom

I agree with Tom. I have enough PBP games on the go to keep me content to wait for this one to pick back up again. Of course, if it takes too long, Bern might be too hung over to contribute much.
