I went to the Soup Nazi for lunch. The Soup Nazi no longer works at the counter, but the soup is still pretty good.

Ugh I so look forward and dread my subscriptions arriving this month. I get to see all the awesomeness, but I have a huge amount of study ahead as I will be running Wrath of the Righteous in the near future which means I must understand both Mythic, and the Adventure Path and supporting materials.

I want to like this post more than once.

I *really* want to run this. I think it owuld be awesome to run it as a paladin only thing. although maybe Paladins, Clerics and Inquisitors would be fun. Run it as a troop from a religious order. That would be soooo cool.

PbP? ;)

+1

Are Oracles on that list too? =)

It's definitely the feel I'm going for, more than classes, persay. I'd be cool with anything that has an overtly religious feel to the roleplay. But I envision them considering themselve a holy order of some sort, rather than a simple adventuring band. :)

I could try a play by post. Hmmm. let me ruminate on that.

Someone make a "cantor" bard archetype!

Um....sure! I won't have time to get any campaign set up until evening at the earliest, though. :)

No rush =D

You know you have about 50 characters you've got waiting in the wings, just because you decided to sit down and create random characters one day. :D

I deleted that folder because it was cluttered.

When I saw this post I thought about stereotypical scene with woman-picking her dress.

Scint looks through wardrobe with character sheets: I don't have fitting character for this campaign!

I actually probably don't. Lots of homebrewed races in my group.

Lots of 3rd-party stuff frequently used too. I'm waiting for Jess to say what's allowed and what's not before diving into character creation - don't want to get halfway in and find out part or all of my sheet is unusable.

And with that, work is up. Headin' home.

haha, I haven't even looked at the player's guide yet!

I'll tell you one thing = no summoners. Sorry, I hate running them. a lot.

I won't go further until I've had a chance to look at stuff. :D

And of course, Treppa! ^_-

The Exchange

Oracles and Cavaliers should be on that list. Actually any class that has a reasonable backstory on why it is part of the church.

Yup. :)

Good: When I opened a bag of buns after returning from shopping I discovered that it contains 14 instead of 10 buns... The one who packed buns either had seriously miscalculated or just didn't care. With 0.18 per bun I got 0.72 extra.

Bad: Cheapest tea I was buying went up by 0.32. Less than I got in bonus buns but the increased tea price will accumulate. I thin I'll go back to tea I was buying before - it costs the same and may or may not be a bit better. Hard to say with quality fluctuations between individual packages of cheapest teas.

Also bad: a very mild headache is stalking back of my head. I wonder if it will grow, diminish or stay the same.

Silver Crusade

Does one need Mythic Adventures to function well as a player in WotR?

After buying tea, buns, a kilogram of macaroni and two bags of powdered soup I am left with single zloty in my pocket. Today's groceries together with the remaining Vienna sausages, eggs, rice and soup it should cover my dinners until the end of the week. Still I will probably need to buy some bread and spread around Friday...

If so, I'd totally go for it.

From what I've read, not until Chapter 2. The Mythic Power apparently gets given to the PCs at the end of Book 1. So we've got some time after it comes out for everyone to get their hands on the Mythic book and plan for that before we would get to that point, especially in a PbP.

Hopefully, you should be able to use the pfsrd at that point.

also keep in mind that mythic tier advancement is not necessarily tied to character level advancement

Play by post sounds interesting.

Also had a song with jabberwock come up on pandora.

Avoid the drama?!? Where's the fun in that?!?

Besides, you're forgetting FAWTL threads 1-5.

I'm finally all prepped for GenCon! I'm curious about what kind of quivering mess I'll be after running six games and playing in another three. Yay introversion.

However, I will get to see folks I haven't seen in a year or two, so that's cool.

Congratulations on crossing the 90,000 threshold. Onward to six-digit post counts!

I told my Players similiar things. I told them that you are default good. A few scenarios I will allow non-good characters:

1) A crimminal exiled to Mendev to take part in the crusade to avoid execution or the like (sort of like taking the black in game of thrones)

2) A character seeking redemption for past crimes or atrocities.

And under both circumstances they MUST have a good story background and personality make up for there characters otherwise I reject them and they are default good.

So I can't ask advice for which deity my caster uses and can't have a football hooligan barbarian whose lifelong dream has been to sell handmade pottery and glassware?
