'Vampyre King' Jonathon the Impaler Jailed for Threatening Judge

This certainly takes the focus on us crazy role players.

I would have voted for him, if I hadn't been too busy masquerading as a high school student.

He's a moron. Glad he's behind bars.

Where he can't play D&D. Oh, snap!

Yep. *shakes head* how stupid can one man be? I guess he will have an *interesting* time in prison.

What a waste of air.

Well, with a name like Rocky Flash you can eithe become a vampire or a porn star. Guess he should have chose the porn star.

Liberty's Edge Contributor, RPG Superstar 2012

Oh no, Flash, what have you done now? :)

Sounds like a guy I met once. I had to check the pic to be sure it wasn't him. He's just as delusional though.

Did you see his picture? I think he was destined to fail at both.

Went to lunch with a guy during a con once. He seems ok then he started ranting about his out of body astral projections where he met psychic vampires. My buddy and I left when he went to the bathroom. Still see the dude once in a blue moon around town. I always find another direction to go.

Actually, he sounds delusional, rather than just stupid. If he tried to put up a defense in mortal law, that'd be the obvious one.

And, I know newspapers have deadlines, and editors have more important stories but: "He claims that he is sovereign to "vampyre law," not human law." Most likely subject, not sovereign.

Stupidity aberrantly is illegal in some states.
Maybe when he's in prison he can kick his addiction to Hot Topic.

Ah...now the story is a little less fun.

CrimJ, if we are ever at a Con together, you will alert me to this person in time.

You will notice. When I abruptly turn and walk the other way. :P

The beauty of this is that somewhere, someone is writing the same thing about you. We are all someone's Rocky Flash.

Man, on rereading, I'm thinking it's a shame that the guy who staked his ex-girlfriend's boyfriend to save her from the vampire doesn't get to hook up with the V.K. Maybe they will be incarcerated in the same facility.

Question: Does Vampyre Law trump Pyrate Law?

Also, it is a shame he took poor ol' Vlad's name. Vlad would have known what to do with Satanists who have kooky blood-drinking websites and threaten judges...

I was going to write something angry in response but truth be known I am sure there are a few people for whom this would be true. there is however, a difference in having a bad relationship with someone and running into someone who is so lost to reality, that it is safer to remove yourself from them, rather then deal with their personal reality. No I am not speaking of atheists either. :P Know quite a few that I would trust.

Nothing trumps pyrate law!

Two words for you, Ron Jeremy.

Reportedly, Mr. the Impaler was seen to "sparkle" as he was led into the courthouse. Unfortunately, no mug shots are available since vampires, such as Mr. the Impaler, do not show up on film.

I stand thoroughly corrected.

Although I will point out that that was the '70s and people were pretty messed up.

Yes but Mr. Jermy's talent is obvious. He may look like a human sized over fed hedgehog BUT he is a very well-endowed human sized overly fed hedgehog. That makes all the diffrence.

The vampire guy not so much. I kindda feel sorry for him as a human. I fully agree he is a menace and should be locked up but I as a person wonder what was so wrong with his life that he retreated to a fantasy world and lost his grip on reality.

The closest I ever came to gameing with someone like that was a guy named Mike. He didn't bath, dressed like his charecter all the time when he wasn't in uniform(army)and spoke in medevial terminoligy ALL the time. It was never "hi" or how's it hanging bud. He was always "M'Lord this and My Lady that and "for soth" the other. The sad part was he was the butt of all out jokes and pranks and he didnt mind cause it was the only social interaction he had. Last I heard he moved back to yonkers,NY.

I don't really feel so bad for the guy. No modern day vampire killers are coming after him so he really doesn't have any enemies, plus I doubt those bars will hold him long with his turning into mist and/or super-strength abilities.

If anything the Witch of Hecate prc has a pretty bad-ass spell selection - I may be thinking pre-errata so I could be wrong.

If only he had added a level of Ninja.

Didn't you hear? They're retconning his case so that he played V:TM and D&D. I heard he had a 12th level paladin, WICKED!
