Ive posted this elsewhere, but it bears mentioning again. As someone who has been with D&D from its inception back in the mid 70's. i have given my full support to each and every incarnation of my favorite hobby. Keeping folks from turning away when they complained about the constant change and grab for more of our hard earned cash...Ive bought every supplement, pretty much every module, and built up a well defined city of my own, that has been retransplanted again and again into each new setting....
Until now.
4e and the drastic changes left me feeling like I was losing an old friend. I had decided Id find a company that was going to continue to make 3.5 material and stay with them...until they stopped...then id make my own (which with my work schedule is very hard)
A friend said "Mike you should look into pathfinder, they are talking about keeping their products 3.5"
Imagine my surprise when another friend showed me a hint of what was going on here...
I downloaded the PDF...read a good portion of it and skimmed the rest on my day off, and lo and behold my friend is back.
I jumped off one bandwagon and ran and jumped on another.
Do not let the naysayers and those that say "Ill be leaving for 4e" sway you in the least...This is D&D....and will be my new home.
Thank you all for the bravery this took and the direction you are going.

I agree. Very well said; truly spoke from the heart. PRPG is my d&d as well. And it can live a very long time, coupled with my own massive 3.5 collection.
I am so very happy with Alpha 3, and excited that the Beta is now just a few weeks away...
