This miniature turned out surprisingly better than expected. His face looks like he hit every branch falling down the ugly tree but the armor looks great. He makes a great bandit or even a PC ranger.

Adequate, if disappointing

Sculpt is pretty fair. Paint is adequate or better. Pose is unimaginative. As a dual-wielder, more flamboyant colors could have made him more usable as a PC or interesting NPC. Alas!

GOOD:
Pose, sculpt & paint job.
BAD:
The mouth is almost undeveloped.
UGLY:
Nothing.
Could even be used for a PC.

A three and a half star mini that can sub in for any number of characters -- I'm not sure I'd immediately think "cutpurse" if I saw him. The sword and dagger are a little floppy and need to be straightened, and his face is adequate. His hair is a bit too dark which tends to draw the eye away from his face and you lose some details, but thankfully he wasn't clad in all dark clothing. It is an OK utility piece that can sub in for PCs and a variety of NPCs and isn't bad, but isn't extraordinary either.

Sculpt Quality: Good
Paint Quality: Solid
Comment: Swords are thin, but durable (only one is deformed). No definition of the mouth and minimal color definition on armor/gear despite sculpt quality.
Recommendation: Consider It
*Review based on 4 minis of consistent quality.
