Rose yells a command to Screech, its a trained trick so...."Screech, step towards me and wait for the cat to attack."
Once the cat flanks with Screech, he attacks Valais. Comp Bite: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (7) + 9 = 16Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6(add 2 to hit for flanking)
Rose reaches into a pouch and pulls out fine set of tools.
Disable: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (20) + 15 = 35 Quietly, she returns the picks to her pouch after she takes a try at the door....
"I should be going first. I may not be able to disable magic traps, but I can notice them since we are underground. We'll have to go slow though, we are getting hit hard by those we've stumbled across."
traps: With Dungeon Rover, just passing within 10 feet of any trap while underground, Rose has a chance to spot them at a +10. This is why I thought the disarm would work because it's almost the same as trap spotter.
Rose moves on in and follows the leader to the left, and Screech follows along.
Rose stops and examines the mural with the writing....verbalizing to herself without realizing she's talking out loud, I've seen this style of script before.... It's human based....it's barbarian in nature... Northern from the stylization of that letter...It's gotta be Hallit..."
Rose sets Screech to helping dig the tunnel, and then she steps in next to the other Paladin and while they are digging the hole, will try to rebuild her self-confidence. "Hello Shyael, let me introduce myself while we work. I am The Lady Rhosalith Shadowblade of House Arpador of Taldor, but I'd rather be known as a Devoted follower of and Holy Warrior of my Patron, Apsu the Maker of All, the Creator of the Original Deities.
Draconic:
"So, miss know it all admits she don't? It's about time you figured that out."(Sounds of Dragon Laughter to end the comments) "Screech, next time I get you a lamb, I'll be sure to get a fresh one....and have them leave the wool on it and I won't pull it out when it gets stuck in between your teeth either." Screech stops his barking laughter and tries to do one of those sad puppy-dog eye looks you see dogs give when they know they're in trouble.....
"Even the most pure of souls can be fooled by those who wish to use the nature of the person against themselves.
everyone: Just returned from a 3 day PFS convention in Killington Vt. I doubt very much there will be a post monday (today) from me as I've been mostly dead all day. I'm not in my 20's anymore and able to scoff at needing sleep for 3 days of straight gaming. I will try to if I wake up at all.
Rose will go over to the pile and pick up each item, one at a time. She spends about a minute each and then sets them down, after she's done each item, "Well, let me tell you a little about each of those items." DM: Occultist : At 2nd level, an occultist learns how to read information from items he examines. Examining an item in this way requires him to spend 1 minute handling the item. If the item is a magic item, the occultist learns its properties and command word as if he had successfully examined the item using detect magic and succeeded at a Spellcraft check. This ability does not reveal whether the item is cursed unless the occultist’s class level is equal to or greater than the caster level of the item. If the item has any historical significance, the occultist learns one piece of information about its past (as determined by the GM). Finally, if the item was last used no longer than 1 day ago per the occultist’s class level, the occultist learns one piece of information about the last creature to use the item. This information might be a glimpse of the creature’s appearance, a brief vision of what it saw while using the item, or perhaps its emotional state when it last used the item. The GM determines what information is gained in this way. This functions like the psychometry occult skill unlock (see page 196), but doesn’t require a skill check and can be used at will. (most GM's just use it to identify items and skip the background stuff)
Screech was given a command a couple rounds ago to Guard Enora and do what she says until Rose calls him
spellcraft: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14 Rose, lets those already near the dino-thing deal with it, she aims at the flying caster that summoned it, and looses a couple more arrows at him. Comp Bow: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (17) + 12 = 29Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10
"No Idea what he just cast and I'll switch over if that beasty gets too close for Enora and start attack it."
Do you want a separate post for Screech? I can't access a picture for him.
I had been miss reading the Trick rule for Companions.... Paladin Companions are crazy with the tricks they know. I was reading that companions have 6 tricks plus the bonus as per chart. They get 3 per Int point + the Bonus as per chart. Mr. DM, can make the adjustment for the game, or no?
GM Picatrix wrote: @jowie: this google doc explains how. I have a character sheet on google docs, I was talking about the light blue line under the names. I really do not want to retype the entire character(again). The only thing not on the sheet on Google are the boons.
