Ok I have been playing for awhile. I have ran a few Ap and played in AP's and PFS. I love the game but I am running into a bad case of the blahs for the game I like. I am have a hard time coming up with something I haven't seen played or watching other min-max charcters. I can't seem to get excited aboutthe new AP's. Right now, I started the reign of winter and My book has either sprouted wings or was five fingered discounted, which has me put off about the whole thing. Anyway, anyone got some suggestions to get me out of the funk I'm in.

One for the ages: A AP that extends over periods of ages teens, young adults, middle age, venerable.

Have one where you start out as a 15th level so and so. only to die a horrible death at the hands of the BBEG. Restart at first level in isotubes and you would be clones who would be trying to get back your abilities and equipment.

historical AP: set when the starstone fell, or during Thassilionaion rule.

So, I was working on a power build guy. And came up with this
1st level Barb: human with 18 str and power attack.
2nd Alchemist: with mutagen and extract enlarge person
3rd Alchemist: rage chemist - viscectionist
So 18,6 for mutagen,4 for rage, and 2 enlarge. Is that right?

I like the idea of a cleric of nature or druid of the Green faith being a representative "to set nature right".

I personally like the idea. Look I had this idea for awhile. I thought of someone who has trained his body to fight against the magic being used in the world. This could be because a lich destroyed village or it was a sect of people who were training against the runelord. I see someone who studies magic to negate it arcane and divine. The abilities can either be based on INT or WIS. I see it being a skills like above it must have Knowledge Arcane, religion, and planes.

I always hated the counter-spell systems that Pathfinder and 3.0 had it seemed clunky. I personally have never seen anyone ever use it. So I thought a class would be better than that of a Prestige class. I can't see a full bab because he would be putting alot of time into studing magic. The use of simple weapons with addition of other weapons like that of the Inquistor and rogue.

Abilities would be SR, And I like the Modus Operandi idea. I like spell reflection as idea, plus an ability to increase his dispel at different levels. Maybe an ability like selective channel were you can have area of dispel magic in in certain squares per level or reduce damage in those areas like channel except damage reduction for magic.

Maybe I am looking for a magic nullifier class instead of anti-magic?Someone as they increase in levels takes less damage from magic form divine and arcane. Spelleater

Are there any anti-magic classes in any 3.5 settings. I was thinking BAB Cleric, hp wizard, skill wizard, simple weapons, medium armor, abilities would be along the line of SR at levels, anti-spell progression one for one level.

Was wanting to add an undead zombie race for my game. Using the ARG full undead costsbase of 16 points at what point level would you use to make solomn grundy as a race.

Hospital? You all right?

Allergies and Asthma don't mix. Stayed at an relatives house and whatever was in the house got the best of my allergy medicine and my rescue inhaller. Thank you for the concern. I scared the hell out of my wife and kids though. But they have me pumped up on claritin, Flozin, ventolin, and some steriod that is making me have hot flashes like a 45 year old woman,but I finally broke free enough to respond to the post today.

Although I wanted to keep the elf idea I am curious where you were going with your idea.

So I didn't get back to this sooner I was in the hospital when I wrote this up.

Kainpen: I really liked the elven archer you presented and ill use it if allowed. The armor on the other hand I guess I should have elaborated alittle more. I wanted it to have the power of sustance and resist elements, but also gain in AC per level. The sunder resistance was a great add possible fortitude. For the AC to get better any black dragon blood can be used or black dragon scale added to the armor.

Black blood troll: I was trying to use only Pathfinder books.My original concept was an elf and I would like to keep it an elf.

Had an idea about a elven archer that was horribly burned on patrol by a black.dragon breath. The idea was during a healing ritual they sewed leaves and leathers over the body. I see this being a type of legacy armor where it sustains for food and increases ac value and can only be removed by bathing in the blood of the dragon and breathed on her. How is best way to set this up. Second what make the better archer class.fighter ranger or arcane archer.

I guess my whole line of thinking for elemental clerics is they are more intune with their element than positive energy. So a cleric with a fire domain would blast a radius of fire around them instead of positive energy. Creatures would still get the reflex save.

So, I watched to majority of the RNC. I would normally watch this on Fox and decided to get both side or neutral perspective. I flipped through all the channels and the crew on PBS did a great job. They weren't over excited like fox can be and attack dogs like msnbc can be. Wish the national news was more neutral period. On another note I am really pissed at yahoo news that they may have fired the guy who said" republicans are partying while n#$%#@are drowning. But have not had article on the site that apologies.

Have to agree with golem 101. About the maxing hp when I ran the orginal white books I had six player and the munched everything until I max'd the hp. It was a fair fight most the of time and the players still wet themselves every once and awhile.

Sara,

I looked at my subscription page and it has it as being on a once a month list if you changed that thank you. When I receieved my order this month I did not receive my pathfinder comic.

Also next month shows that I am to be charged for number 4 and number 5 of Skull and Shackles. I would be fine with that but I picked them up at Paizo Con last month. Would you please have them removed.

I use to support gay marriage until gays started sueing churches because they wanted to get married in a place that's beliefs went against theirs. I will support gay marriage if churches get protect from civil suits.
I support Civil Unions. It gives the equal right under the law as marriage in most states. Which is what gays want right?
If it's more about taking down religions and other instuitions that don't believe gay marriage then I want to see equal protests against all religions not just christians.

For me its Andirifkhu, the Razor Princess, demon lord of illusions, traps, and knives. My reasoning is that her worshippers kidnap victims and stick them in a dungeon full of horrifying traps that kill, maim, poison, slice, pierce, crush, squeeze, choke, drown, boil, burn, freeze, and drive you insane. If the victim does manage to get out through it all alive, they are forced to do the whole thing over again and again, until they eventually succumb.

Needless to say they make a great excuse for a Saw-esque dungeon crawl that's creepy as hell.

Sounds like the movie The Cube.

Could the stat dumping be fixed By all stats start with a 10 and the only way you can go beneath it is if your race ability negative takes it there. Just an idea.

I'd go paladin, then ask your GM if you can use the divine bond options from Anti-Paladin to get a demon pet at level 5 instead of the mount.

EDIT: Another thing...for flavor. You could use a variation of the paladin oath against evil outsiders, and be a paladin of Sarenrae. She teaches the value of redemtpion, maybe that's why your paladin has a demon? To try to reform it?

I really like this idea. But my creature is only there to help me find magic items to kill demons. I borrowed this idea from Midnight where evil clerics get compainions that help them detect magic.

I look at gray knights being more paladins than inquisitors.

The first thing I would look into is whether you need inquisitor levels for your concept. There's nothing stopping a full summoner from being dedicated to fighting daemons and wearing a sweet commissar outfit and being dedicated to a deity and/or cause that fiercely hunts down daemons or even calling herself an "inquisitor". They can even be part of an inquisitor order. If there's specific inquisitor abilities you really feel are core to the character concept you can go deep enough for those, but the more you can keep the levels to one side or the other the better off you'll be.

I want the skills from the inquisitor class, which the summoner class does not have. The gunslinger also doesn't have the skills I am looking for although the bolter would be cool.

The could have just add something that had an animal companion but the summoner allowed me the build my chaos creature.

The primary class will be a inquisitor class will be the primary with summoner as a secondary 2 to 1. The creature will help me with teamwork feats.

I think I am going to go down the road with a Dex build and the crossbow mastery feat tree. I will post my first level build after work.

I am 40K fan and love the fluff for the Daemonhunters and the gray knights. For whatever the reason, I am trying to come up with an Inquisitor/Summoner mix? You may say, "why would I do that". Because I think it would be neat to have an Inquistor that has left the front line of the worldwound and will do anything to get something that may once and for all close the wound and send every demon back to the pit. Even if that means binding herself to a daemonhost(Eidolon). I know from the beginning there will be know optimal build. I was thinking a 1 for 1 level build or do I do a 2 for 2? This will be for a PFS game and maybe Shattered Star AP. So, twenty point build.

My eidolon will be trying I wanted to an cat like creature with six legs and feline. 4 eye two sets of ears and tentacles and realized last night I was thinking of a displacer beast.

So I have my female commissar dressed style inquistor with her daemonhost (Eidolon).

How playable will this be at higher levels?
