When compared to the first two parts there is way too litle diplomacy going on here, like the author didn't get the memo that this started as a political campaign.

Feels like it was written for a bunch of dpr optimized murderhobos, rather than fighty diplomats.

on the plus side: large green dragon with a nice paint job.
on the down side: squashed in to an awkward pose to fit in the box.

as mentioned by Everrunner, there are a few disappointments.
I’d like to add the size of the big cats which are on the upper end of a medium figure.
The Tanuki is bulkier than the Tiger.

Not at all happy about the distribution of rarities: while having two skull poles and two anvils is nice, I have 11 large figures for the sale bin which is more than the last few sets.

great sculpt and paint job, one of the heads didn‘t fit due to a wrong coding pin in the joint, but I was going to install magnets anyways.

looks way too smal for a large, but at least it will be easy to re-base one of them to medium for the first levels as druid‘s animal companion.

not as perfect as set 7 but not worse enough to drop a star.

my eyes are old and bent, but in can still make out all the fine details on these.

The lance wielder would be more fitting for the Reclamation Cavalry.
The missed opportunity is in making the riders (not) interchangable: The Cavalry rider is assembled in two parts, torso and legs. If this one had also been in two parts it would be fairly easy to exchange the torsos. As it is I'll either have to modify the mantle to make it fit on the hippogriff; or saw the torso off.

the lance is delivered wobbly, but that is what hair dryers are for.

5 stars for what it is.
Would have been pretty cool if this had come in 2 pieces: One for the statue and one for the pedestal.

the white web distracts from the otherwise nice mini spider, looks better on the black base.

the Book of the Damned on a stand was a much better deal, this is just meh.

Mounted Alain got a bigger horse, but he's an Iconic.
The rider was very easy to remove by pulling him up which makes this useful in combination with the Reclamation Knight.

The pose of the rider is inviting for a point blank shot or whatever is just about to knock the rider off.

one star deduction for the shelfs and bar pieces not fitting the standard 1" grid

easy enough to crack with a thin steel ruler without damaging the sculpt.
Valeros of the iconics set just about fits, but the cube needs polishing inside and outside for better view.
Will then get some small magnets to hold the base.

The rider was easy to remove, which makes the mini doubly usefull.

makes a good firing squad

The medium sized Hell Hound of Shatered Star is about as big as this.

nice sculpt, the teeth on the belt are easy enough to touch up.

altogether less impressive than the Heroes & Monsters Gnome Fighter which cost 2.5$

it looks somewhat cute when it's out of the box.

I had to actually measure the figure to be convinced that it is taller than the average medium mook or hero.

I bought two and both have the head glued on in a wiered way.

the first reviews were a fair warning, so what I got was better than expected.

the large figures are usually good.

the medium ones all equally excaptable though buying the rare figures as singles would be quite a disappointment.
the face of King Ivoretti is the only exception: It's a complete failure and not easy to fix with extra paint.

two breakages are probbably caused by a too heavy figure (the Toad Demon) squashing the other figures, the twiddly wire around the feet could not stop the top heavy body from dangling around.
