Aasimar or Elven Divine Hunter (Paladin) of Erastil | Lore Keeper (Oracle) of Ancestor.

Yeah, it's looking likely that this one has died.

I unfortunately could not tell you everything that it offers, but it does offer a Japanese Fashion Show, the Honey Tea Maid Cafe, various fan ran panels for various things (Anime, Manga, Crafts, Costume Making), and more.

If you are interested in checking it out more, the website is animestl.net

Ah, my bad.

I'll be attending Anime St. Louis. It takes place in Collinsville, IL.

Would you happen to be talking about this Red Velvet Tiger?

As for your response, it is a good time. It keeps me busy with trying to make sure everything runs smoothly and that everyone is having a good time. We're growing as well which is always a good sign.

I belive it was stated that you can trade levels (On one side of the gestalt track?) for to build your own race, take templates, and/or be a monster at the cost of 1 level per CR. So you could be an Advanced (Template) Aasimar for the cost of one level on one side of your gestalt track I believe.

For example, I was looking at making an Advanced Aasimar Bloodrager 17 | Oracle of Ancestors 16 (One less than the starting level to make up for the CR +1 of the Advanced Template).

Although it might be one level from each side. That would be best answered by Red Velvet Tiger though.

Thank you. It should be a good weekend, I just have a bunch to get done before it gets here, including a doctor's appointment, supply shopping, origami making, and dress shoe/belt shopping.

Nothing like helping run a maid cafe at an anime convention to keep you busy during the week.

Perhaps I'll take some time next week to amuse myself by reading through everyone's else's submissions though.

Unfortunately I am going to withdraw from this recruitment thread at this point in time. This week is crunch time for a convention I help with so my entire week/end will be dedicated to that and I will not have the time to finish creating a submission, let alone polish it.

Thank you for the opportunity though.

A lot of spells give you a minute or round per caster level as opposed to a round per two levels of oracle. Seems like it would work better as a move action when you compare it to some of the other oracle abilities granted by the Oracle of Ancestors.

Although I would have to agree with you Mort that it seems like that entire round would basically be dedicated to buffing with how it is now.

Edit: I see your point Biddaddyjug.

That is what I thought. I understand it is a strong ability, but it seems kind of silly to have to activate it as a standard action and than wait until the next turn to really start making use of it.

So does it actually take a standard action to activate the Oracle of Ancestor's Spirt of the Warrior Ability?

Spirit of the Warrior (Su): You can summon the spirit of a great warrior ancestor and allow it to possess you, becoming a mighty warrior yourself. You gain a +4 enhancement bonus to Strength, Dexterity, and Constitution, and a +4 natural armor bonus to AC. Your base attack bonus while possessed equals your oracle level (which may give you additional attacks), and you gain the Improved Critical feat with a weapon of your choice. You can use this ability for 1 round for every 2 oracle levels you possess. This duration does not need to be consecutive, but it must be spent in 1-round increments. You must be at least 11th level to select this revelation.

No problem. I'm glad to see more Dungeon World getting ran and I'll have to take a look into the Priate World Kickstarter.

DM Frogfoot is actually the one that got me started on Dungeon World as well.

Indeed, that works for me. If you find a position has opened up and you would like it freed I would request that you just shoot me a PM to let me know.

I can definitely say that I enjoy the system and it would be great to see DM Frogfoot in play as opposed to DM'ing. If you find you need more players, let me know.

That was me and I do like Cyrus Dragonheart.

Ah, sorry about that. So many posts keep popping up that it can be hard to keep track of who said what.

I'm thinking that Cyrus might find himself drawn to "The Loom of Fate" as a sort of protectorate, while he is known to make appearances on other planes to uphold that which has been foretold.

I'm foreseeing a child born in the midst of a war. Beneath the light of a red moon he lost the entirety of his family as his homeland was sacked in hopes of securing the secrets of their longevity. A secret which is held within the celestial blood that flows through their veins.

Upon finding the now orphaned child, an enemy soldier took it upon himself to raise the child in hopes that one day he might be able to glean the secrets that now seemed lost with the burning city. Unfortunately for that soldier, it had been foretold that a child would be spared that fateful day so that he might repay the debts that had been made.

And it was in reclaiming what had been stolen from his people that has led Cyrus to this point in his life. Mixing magic and brawn he has slaughtered his enemies to repay them for the lives that they have stolen.

pardon?

You had suggest the name Sirus Dragonheart earlier. I was thinking maybe something more like Cyrus Dragonheart.

How about Cyrus instead of Sirus, Darien?

And what is a good star to be born under when destined for greatness?

___________ (I hate thinking of names, it's the hardest part of making a character.) has always felt a thrill in the heat of combat and sought out worthy opponent's all of his life. As his prowess grew, he started to tap into the celestial heritage hidden in his heritage to unlock innate ablities for magic, both arcane and divine. In doing so, he strengthened not only his mind, but his body as well.

I'm going to switch to the second. While playing the healer can be fun, it can also be rather tiresome so I would like to make someone that is more front line and in the mix of things.

So now I have to work on backstory for this one. I think I will continue on with the Advanced Aasimar idea and have him transcending his mortal shell by tapping into the divinity that flows through his veins. I think this will be shown through various feats and by switch over to an Oracle of Ancestors.

Bah, now I'm torn between a God of Magic and War or a God of Healing and Protection.

For a God of Magic and War I would see him getting into the thick of things using his hands to not only weave powerful spells, but to rend flesh.

For a God of Healing and Protection I would see a Paladin wading into a war zone protecting his fallen comrades with his shield and body while using his magic to not only mend their wounds, but even bring the dead back to life.

Considering I'm already playing the healer in another game, I think I might want to switch my concept over to a God of Magic and War. So I think I'll switch over to that concept. He'll be a Chaotic Good being who loves to get right in the middle of things and despite his brash behavior, he has a knack for making people like him.

Domains will include Glory, Good, Magic, Strength, and War.
Favored Servitors: Angels and Azata
Embodied Sefira: Hod (Glory and Serenity) because of his thirst for Glory or perhaps Yesod (Physicality and the transcendence thereof) because his love to be hands on when it comes to battle, however he pushes himself beyond normal means through the use of his magic.
Relic: Some kind of item that represents the union of both mind and body perhaps.

Any thoughts?

Hmmm...a god of magic and war is interesting as well. Mechanically it would be an Advanced Magus 6 / Eldritch Knight 10 | Cleric or Oracle 17.

Alistair Mithralvein (?) makes for an imposing, yet noble figure. Standing near six feet tall, this angelic being is bedecked in a set of mithral full plate that is accompanied by both a mithral shield and sword. However, all of this pales in comparison to the six mithral wings that unfold from this divine being's back with an impressive wingspan of 12 feet.

Often has Alistair been mistaken for a being forged living mithral by the Gods as constructs are forged by wizards.

Edit: Is there some kind of template that turns a creature into a construct?

I don't mind suggestions at all. It might even help me think of something more as well. I know he'll be taking shield focus and mythic shield focus so that he can make better use of his shield. I foresee it being a +5 Mithral Heavy Shield at this point in time. Perhaps with some other abilities.

Perhaps it will grant access to some other shield feats as well.

Will our relic be built with the Legendary Item Mythic Rules than?

I'm looking at taking abilities that will allow him to add his shield to his touch ac, fortitude saves, and reflex saves as it is. As for what other power it may possess...it will become unbreakable and bonded to him. Perhaps the ability to reveal hidden dangers and grant protection to those around him.

Malkuth (Rulership of One's self, and respect for another's authority) or Chesed (Kindness and compassion) seem to fit best to me.

Favored servitors could be one of a few different choices including Angels, Archons, and/or some kind of dragon considering I'm planning on giving him steel wings (Although I'm considering having them reworded as Mithral wings).

His relic will likely have to do with his shield since his main domain will likely be that of Protection.

Will we be starting with these relics? I would go back to look to see if such has been answered already, but I am a bit pressed right now.

So many ideas floating around in my head, I really should choose one to focus on and I hope I don't step on anyone's toes with it and is in fact similar to the one Darien just posted. The mechanical basis is as follows:

Advanced Aasimar Paladin 6 / Holy Vindicator 10 | Purifier of Life (Oracle) 17

Throughout his life, this particular Aasimar has always felt a strong urge to protect the weak and shield them from the evils that inhabit the planes. By dedicating his life to such a righteous cause, he has started his path to transcending mere mortality as more and more begin to believe in him and his ability to help those in need.

These titles are subject to change if I happen to find a better one.

  • Once nicknamed "The Righteous Flame" for his burning passion to remove evil from the planes.
  • His willingness to act as a shield for others has garnered him the name "The Holy Bastion".
  • While his divine power to heal has granted him the title "The Healing Light".

He is known for his near unmatchable ability to heal and his impregnable defense.

I'm still around as well.

Good lord this thread took off and while I understand that crunch is not considered the most important thing right now, but some people pull inspiration from the crunch. I happen to be one of those sorts most of the time.

We are starting at level 17, correct? I feel like I'm seeing quite a few people building for level 20.

However, it would make a lot of sense for a deity of crafting and knowledge to have a background in such.

Could I inquire into where the rules for the divine play will come from? D&D? Your creation? Mythic rules?

I have a few ideas floating around in my head right now, but I'm not sure which I will go with yet.

Hello Red Velvet Tiger,

I am definitely interested in this game, althoughI have a few questions before I proceed with making a character concept.

  • Do you count Bards, Maguses, and the sort as full casters?
  • How do you want Item Creation feats handled? Such as, you buy items you crafted at half price, however you must be able to make the craft check by taking a 10.

I'm sure more questions will arise, but I thought I would bring those up for now to get things started.

Looking forward to designing a character,
Fremont

Glad to hear you are doing better.

Very well. At this point in time, I'm looking at a kind of Know-It-All Human Alchemist/Expert who was sent by a major corporation to not only assess the resources on the island, but to start securing them and manufacturing what he can into useful items.

Edit: Also, I found no mention of starting with traits so I'm assuming we don't start with anything. Is that correct?

Very well. I'm making my way through the rest of the thread at this point in time and I'll have to revisit the P6 rules when I make it home tonight. However, so I can keep the creative juices flowing, I wanted to clarify that the P6 rules are the ones where you will only ever have the potential to reach level 6, but from that point on you will advance in a manner that gives you various abilities based off feats, correct? However, for the most part your class abilities will be forever capped at 6? Such as a Ranger receives Woodland Stride at level 7, but your character would never achieve this ability since you will never reach level 7.

When you say pfsrd, are you referring to the d20pfsrd site?

That is an intriguing concept. I'll have to think about it some more. I had been a bit heart set on the concept I already had, but I'm sure I can come up with some thing different. Especially with some new ideas thrown out there like that.

I've looked up a little bit of information on a previous janitor at one point in time. I was thinking of creating a Monk/Staff Magus who would be able to use his cleaning insturment as a staff.

Hmm...with all of that in mind, it makes me reconsider making a janitor.

Hmm...I was looking at an immortal being that has a tendency to disappear for undisclosed amounts of time to his pocket dimension where he holds his various studies. Perhaps so much that every now and then people will find him sitting in on a class about present day events so that he might keep in touch with what is happening while he is away.

Perhaps he could simply be a substitute of some kind?

If not, it raises the question of what is the Academy in search of? What roles do they need filled? What kind of ads have the put out?

While he will be a high level alchemist, I don't see him necessarily being the Alchemy professor. Perhaps someone that could stand in if necessary. However, I could see him being a Professor of lost technology. In fact, I kind of see him working on a construct as a past time/hobby.

Edit: Perhaps he is the one that has been maintaining the academy's technology?

I know I've shown interest in this thread before, unfortunately things come up and as usual I'm not sure how much time I could dedicate to the thread, but I would be interested in perhaps creating a professor. Perhaps one that often takes leave to tend to his other matters at hand.

I was thinking of a high level Alchemist/Wizard.

Take care and let us know when were good to go again.

I'm waiting for the go ahead about making our next move since we were given an initiative order.

After a quick glance at the map Merton had provided, Lucius would start to move with confidence.

I'm assuming each square is a 5-foot movement. Please let me know if that is not so. Otherwise, Lucius moves to F8.

Lucius would offer Mary a reassuring smile while saying, "We will find her Sister Mary," before heading off with the others.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Is the basement lit or dark?

Some times things do just come together that well.

That's no good. I hope the switch out goes smoothly.

Speaking to the Mayor Rol, Merton, and Sister Mary, Lucius would question.

"Do you all have an issue with staying here until the others return? If so, than I suggest that each of you have some kind of escort for the time being."

I was referring to the GM. I was wondering what are NPC allies had to say.

"Indeed, I'm not saying that we will not be. I'm simply saying that we should be ready for the worse in case if something were to come up."
