I noticed a couple people asking about Amiri in different threads from the one I posted her in, so I thought I'd make this dedicated thread! As an added bonus (sorry if it's too late Caisen), I'm throwing in Seelah for good measure!

Amiri has been updated to fix a couple errors my players noticed. Let me know if you find anything incorrect.
Again, Paizo, if this is a problem just say so and I'll take them down. :]

DWishR, these are fantastic! A great way to introduce a couple of new classes to the BB family. Thank you for taking the time to design them!
Any chance you'll be doing more of them? I'd love to see Seoni - the sorcerer is probably the next class I'd like to add to BB. The Bard too, but it looks like he's a gnome...

Lem the Bard is an Halfling.
Lini the Druid is a gnome.

WOW, DwishR. Those pregens are INCREDIBLE. I'm absolutely going to use those.
Hey. Is there any chance you might be able to do a Harsk pregen? He's the iconic dwarf ranger.
I'm going to be running Pathfinder to schoolkids the last Friday of March and first two Fridays in April, and I thought it'd be nice to have a dwarf pregen as well, so all races would be represented. I planned on making a dwarf barbarian to fill the need, but your pregens are amazing. I'd much rather give a player a sheet that looks professional than hand out 4 Paizo-made ones and then whatever crapass character sheet I'd be able to generate.

I had to pull these down in order to rework them to conform to Paizo's community use guidelines. Hopefully I'll get them finished this weekend or next. Kind of busy at the moment (really bad timing).
And I can't edit the original post to remove the links. LAME.

Thanks for working to comply with the CUP. I've removed the urls from your original post to prevent people from following dead links.

That's really too bad. I understand that Paizo needs to protect themselves and their IP - I assume the changes you need to make are to not copy the trade dress of the official pregens - but that was the whole point of your work here. But... Boo. Really.
I'll say again that I believe there is a decent sized group out here that wants this simplified version of PF and has no desire to move on to the full game. Yes, we can create our own versions of the content from the SRD but when we're playing with kids, using the box as the educational tool it's designed for, continuity of presentation is key, and DWishR's pregens allowed the GM to offer new classes, or expand the party if there are more than 4 players, without adding another layer of confusion or difficulty to the process.
I really hope you guys don't feel like you need to come down on EdoWar for using the color-coded block format for the feats and skills he's produced as part of his class conversion project.

Hehe, I really hope they don't have to, either. I never got the chance to see DWishR's original pregens, so I don't know how close to the trade dress they got. Hopefully my conversions are different enough to not violate anything.
At any rate, I'm looking forward to seeing the new versions of the pregens. I've gotten some requests to do pregens myself, but if someone else is willing to do them, then I can spend more time on something else (like a PFBB megadungeon).

No problem, I work in a creative industry myself so I can understand. I was really hoping you'd release a blank in this style so that the trade-dress requirement for this, specifically styled pregens, could be laxed. Putting rules explanations along the margins really made everything easier for my players. They still use these as a folder to hold their updated sheets and as reference. Is there anyway to verify they meet your guidelines prior to reposting them?
I may ask you to fix the links when I get them back up. :]

But using the same fonts, flourishes, and other specific stylistic elements would cross the trade dress boundary.
As for your question, we don't have an approval process and have no plans to implement one, as we'd end up spending a significant amount of time looking at all the submissions. Because most of our fans comply with the terms of the policy without prompting, it's better for everyone if we just address the rare cases of violations as they're brought to our attention, and as in this case, they're usually unintentional and quickly remedied.

We don't want people creating unofficial things that look so much like ours that people could reasonably mistake them for official. This is why our Community Use Policy says exactly what it says, and why we require people who use our IP to abide by it. I offer no apologies for that; it's the way it needs to be. Avoiding that type of confusion is best for the community as a whole.
