-Real life is real life, I had to cancel my skype game, as work has me doing every day for the month of July. Trying to line up time slots with 3 players in the US and one in China (and they were all three continental time zones at that) was impossible.
-Honestly, I kind of took what I knew about Redwall, saw it as a dark-crime-Gotham grey moral-pastiche and ran with it. I'd be more than happy to see what you had planned, and even consider handing the game back over to you, if you have the time.

Well, my druid took 3 hours to write up; I hope it shows. I think the statblock may have an error or two, but will fix later at home. Genisen, you've got til tomorrow night to get your guy in!

I got mine in. Took me longer than I thought, but I think I got there! We picked a similar starting spot so maybe we can be brothers if we both get in! I could do some slight modifications if needed.

40 applications, 45 including withdrawn. I think it was rigged! I should have made some new aliases and thrown in a couple 10 minutes applications!

Honestly good luck narrowing it down. Hope you have a system! I've been contemplating doing another pbp game with the ideas of Rappan Athuk, World's Largest Dungeon, or Slumbering Tsar or something like that. I shudder at the thought of whittling down from 40 to 5.

At least I'm the only druid applicant; I shudder to think of all those poor bastards that picked Cleric... there's like 7 of 'em!

I'm the only cavalier, but there is a lot of melee so my chances are low on making it. But I really like what I came up with and will be fun to play so even if I don't make this one, I may be able to use the idea again in something else.

I guess I'll have to write the most compelling character background EVAR!! whenever you do recruit for another one.

Hmm, let's see... Int 7, Wis 7 paladin of Iomedae raised in a military academy orphanage who Detects Evil everything (shouting "Detect Evil!" while doing so)? Compelling - yes, no?

How 'bout the Str 20 (also Int 7, Wis 7) Half-Orc Barbarian who randomly belts out "Strang smash!" before head-butting the nearest object?

I'm kind of surprised you didn't get another Druid, Oracle, or Witch or two given their back-up healing ability.

Hmm, I would've thought Inquisitors would be Skill, not Divine. Especially with Magus being Melee.

Probably could have slotted the Inquisitors there as well. Either way, Magus, Bards and Inquisitors, and to some extent Rangers, are all part of multiple groups. Bard (arcane/skill), Inquisitor(divine/skill), Magus (arcane/melee), Ranger (skill/melee). Heck, considering how buff Alchemists and Summoners can make themselves, you could put both of them in Melee as well.

Since I have six slots, the last two can be from any of the categories.

They've been having "technical difficulties" for the past ~24 hours.

I was unable to get on until now.

Good to hear. Always nervous over here in the People's Republic.

I think they were having problems with their servers and/or proxy servers. It went up and down several times. About an hour in the morning (US time) and then up and down a few times with strange response delays in the evening. Seems to be working better now.

I will be on vacation for August, and also changing jobs. I'm moving from Harbin to Changchun. Anyway for the month my internet access, and living conditions will be in flux. I'm also planning to travel a bit. I'd like to say the game is not dead. I'll send you all a PM when I'm back.

I've just been having laptop errors. Stupid BSOD! Error is 0x0000008E which my internet search tells me something to do with the memory.
