Sharla attacks the thing with her daggers.

Dagger: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24

Crit: 1d4 ⇒ 4

Bonus action dagger: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6

To Clarify, is Sharla throwing daggers, or moving up to the door and trying to attack at it through the slot?
Galenus, are you still attempting to charm even after Sharla's attack?

Throwing the daggers. I don't want to get too close, still a bard with lower than average hp.

Dagger range without disadv is 20 feet, so I'll assume you wanted to do it within that range, especially crit and all.

The being behind the door peaks out, the hinges on the stone door creaking in need of oiling. Immediately, Sharla acts with Galenus already performing the gestures and incantations of a spell.

Sharla moves up 10 feet (20 feet away now) and throws her daggers. The first dagger makes it through the crack of the door with practiced ease, and a pained grunt from the creature behind can be heard. The second dagger goes wide and bounces off the stone wall beside.

Gelanus completes his spell, but he can feel it slide off of the thing.

The door slams shut, the creature behind it shutting the door and doing unknown things behind it.

Varus and Anders are up, followed by Sharla and Galenus.

Oh, Sharla, one of your two thrown daggers is recoverable, but the other is inside the room with the creature, having hit it through the door.

This was from the door behind us, right? I am just confirming that I need to renegotiate the pit again to get within range of the newcomer.

it is the door behind you, but you can walk around the pit without adding any additional footage or making a check.

Anders, you and Varus are both 50 feet away from the other door. You won't be able to attack anything once you reach there, as you would need to use your action for Dashing, unless you have something that sets your speed to 50 that I'm missing.
You can, however, attempt the door without using an Action.

Upon trying the door:

The door is stuck, maybe partially bolted on the other side as it doesn't swing right open. The resistance has a little bit of give to it, so it doesn't seem secured very easily.

An athletics check Action is required to attempt to pull it open with force.

Barbarian/3; HP: 38/38; AC: 15; Perception: +2; Rage 3/3 per Day, 10/10 Rounds; HD 3/3; Inspiration 1/1

Anders rushes to the door and pulls it open with force.

Athletics: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23

I am really failing to be clear. You can try the door as a free action, but doing so tells you the door is jammed somehow and will require an action to attempt to open . You used your action to dash anders, so You can't try to force it open until your next turn. We can use your roll, assuming nothing has changed by then.
Varus.

Barbarian/3; HP: 38/38; AC: 15; Perception: +2; Rage 3/3 per Day, 10/10 Rounds; HD 3/3; Inspiration 1/1

That sounds good. I read that as 50' from the voice, and I thought I read 30' from the door, but I guess that was just Sharls...my bad. You were clear enough.

Silver Crusade

Varus moves 30' to the door, then pauses, looking for flanking attackers.

Move action, Hold action: Attack on approach. I'm doing this in case the unexpected happens, and I'll help with the door next round.

If we are using my above roll, no help will be necessary.

Alrght, Varus. Your trigger is if you see an enemy appear? What attack are you holding? A ranged cantrip? A Javelin throw? You need to specify what you'll be attacking with on a readied attack. Imagine a javelin hefted in your hand above your head as you look for a threat, or a knocked arrow ready to fire.

Anders rushes the door, but notices it stuck.

Varus, now near to Sharla (20 feet from the door), looks for additional threats about.

Sharla then Galenus. Sharla is 20 feet from the door, Galenus is 30.

Sharla moves up to the door to help Anders with the door (Don't worry about rolling advantage, Anders. Your roll was quite high.).

No one else appears in the area for Varus to attack.

Galenus, there is no delaying init, you can either ready an action (which uses your reaction if it is triggered), go defensive, or do nothing if you dont have any normal actions you wish to take.
That said, there won't be anything coming up this turn worth declaring for, so no worries this time.

Varus goes up next to Anders, waiting for him to kick open the door.

Move action up. Readied action: Melee Attack on approach. I always do a Readied: Melee instead of doing nothing. Makes me feel important. =)

With Varus' mace ready for any nearby foe, Anders swings the door open with great force with Sharla's help as Galenus observes nearby.

Athletics successful

A small, makeshift latch in the door bursts out of the stone wall as the door swings open, and a cord tied to the door is pulled which is connected to a rather impressive set-up involving some pulleys, some barrels, and two crossbows that appear to have been there for quite sometime.

However, the door was open with such force that the line pulls the barrels forward as it triggers the crossbows, making the two shots aimed at the doorway (and Anders), veer.

The two bolts fire too late, pointing toward the ground when they are released and bounce off the ground by Anders' and Varus' feet.

--------------------
Scene - Crypt 3
This is another crypt with grey, stone walls and floors, that's 20 feet deep and only 15 feet wide. Stone rubble has been pushed against the wall near the door, as if some stone structures had been destroyed and half-swept out.

There are no sarcophagi, or any other means to entomb dead, visible.

Features
Two barrels stood 10 feet in front of the door with heavy crossbows bolted onto them, the barrels have now toppled onto the ground, the crossbows empty. Behind that, appears to be a bedding area. A cot hangs from nails driven into the stone wall.

A wooden chest rests in the corner near it, along with a small, crude shelf that appears to be holding two glass containers, one full of a dark fluid, the other recently empty. A couple of quivers of javelins lean in the corner.

Occupants
A larger and more fierce looking orc with keen eyes stands near the back of the room, in front of the cot and beside the stone shelf. The orc thing is clearly a woman, is wearing crude, plate armor, and has a quiver of javelins on her back. A Great-axe rests beside the shelf, and a javelin is gripped in her hand, waiting.

She doesn't really appear to be injured.

--------------------

As the crossbows fire, the orc thing hurls her javelin with all of her might at the doorway, Targeting Anders.

Unlike the crossbows bolts, the javelin finds its mark.
Anders, take 10 piercing damage

Varus is too far away to take his readied action. Sharla and Galenus are up. The orc is 15 feet away from the door, and 20 feet away from Anders/Varus/Sharla, 45 feet away from Galenus.

History 10:

This is an Orog, a stronger, smarter breed of orc that usually either acts as the leader of orc-bands, or as a lieutenant within a larger band of orcs. Most of the stories told about an orc that suddenly turns the tide of a battle with a crafty plot are about Orogs. They're a deft, intelligent, and particularly brutal breed of orc.

Varus uses his Channel Divinity to restore Anders.
Heal 5xlvl, max of half hp. Anders is healed to 12 hp.

Anders falls back a bit, so instead of being the first person that would be seen in the doorway, Varus now is.

Sharla sends a curse at the orc, which seems to affect her.

Galenus fires a shot of energy that manages to hit a part of the orc not covered by her crude plate.

The orc picks up her great axe and charges with a roar, targeting Varus since her original prey is behind blocked by him. (position wise, let's say Varus is now standing alone in the doorway, with Anders and Sharla just behind him. Galenus is still 30 feet away from the door)

Oooof! Rough hits.

The orc lays into Varus with her axe, landing two strikes. Varus, take 16 total slashing damage from two attacks. Do you wish to split your healing between you and Anders at all? It is now your turn to do your channel divinity.

Varus, then Anders. Followed by Sharla and Galenus. Don't forget about utilizing Sharla's abilities if wanted. I'll do her rolls, but if someone wants her abilities, call them out.

The cleric heals the barbarian, the barbarian's attack is once more easily defended by the orc, and then the bard works her magics.

It would be an understatement to say that the change of the orc woman's disposition was 'sudden'. She went from blocking the barbarian's blow to falling on the ground, sound asleep so quickly that it might be misobserved by a third party as the barbarian hitting her so hard with his axe, that despite the blow not going through her armor, he had somehow knocked her unconscious.

There are still enough hit points left on the target (thiswassupposedtobeabossgoodgodthoseclutchsleepspellswhy!) that I won't allow the instant killing of the target. For anyone who wishes to try and execute her (if that is your decision), you can attack her all at once. Each melee attack is with advantage, and on a hit it automatically counts as a crit. If not enough damage is done to reduce the orc to 0 HP, I'll resume initiative. For now, decide how you wish you proceed. You have 1 in character minute to decide before she will awake. Make any talk of what you guys wish to do about the sleeping enemy in character.
