Those are just characters though....you create the world around us and breath life into it. I merely react to what you create. I could never do what you do and that's the truth.
Actually, I'm really certain you could. And even better, you have someone experienced at doing so to help. Which let me tell you is a bonus.

I'm sorry...that was a bit loud. My caps was on. Okay...okay...I did it on purpose....but only because I love My Little Pony so much. Maybe I am a little...I don't know..immature...childish...sometimes....but there are just things that I really really like and that's one of them. I like the overall message that MLP brings. I watched the ENTIRE series....I just love it, I do.
I just have so many games I'd like to run: Vampire, Super Sentai, maybe the old Robotech...
Plus that means I have to watch more than a handful of episodes of MLP to actually run it well.
I don't want to overburden you honey....if you really don't want to do it...I could try...but it would probably suck. I'm not bad mouthing myself, just stating a simple fact.

We stopped by Taco Bell after getting the MLP RPG and the girl behind the counter gave him a senior discount. I just about died. He hasn't shaved for a while and we both have a little silver....but he in no way looks over 55. If I'm 55 I look damn good. LOL

I know right? And I even actually had put on a little bit of makeup earlier in the day. Don't ask me why I put on stupid makeup to go to a dark movie theater...but it was just me and Henry and I wanted to look prettified for him and stuff...anyways...if she was looking at me and giving that discount she has to have something wrong with her head. She didn't even charge me for my drink. It was almost toooo much ya know? I wanted to call her out on it...but a penny saved is a penny earned.

I do...very much so. He knows he doesn't look that old and we saved some money...so it's all good. I just wish I could get rid of some of this energy that I syphoned off the little buggers in the movie theater this afternoon. I'm still kinda....charged and I don't know where to direct the energy or how to get rid of it....but I think I'm starting to siphon off of Henry now and I don't know how to stop. I'm not even wearing the ring anymore....
You know....I have nothing against children, but...when I'm trying to watch a movie with my sweetie....the last thing I want to deal with is loud obnoxious children and their even more loud and obnoxious parents...so I might have...you know...skimmed a little off the top so to speak. Only one was resistant to it and she was surrounded by what I figure to be grandparents and such and looked like she was being....well, she looked like a hooker in training to be quite frank about it. She couldn't have been more than 6 or 7 at the most and had on a skanky outfit and dark red lipstick....actually I think it was full on warpaint....she looked like a whore. There was nothing "cute" about it and I don't understand people that think it's okay to groom girls to act and look like that.
Anyways...all the other kids that were in the theater nicely fell asleep and I didn't really have to hear them except for the hooker in training that was sitting in the same row as us with her loud annoying company. I was nice...I didn't say anything or punch anyone in the nose. I just smiled as the other parents quietly carried their sleeping children out of the theater and hope like hell that that girls parents come to grips with the reality that their little darling doesn't need to be made up like a cheap hooker and that she just needs to be a kid.
Okay...maybe I feel a little better now. Just...very young girls and make up is a real button for me.

HOepfully I'll be able to go to sleep soon. I've been sleeping for crap all week and last night was the worst with the storm, and the dog, and the waking up every few hours for whatever reason...I should be exhausted to death by now....I feel kinda tired....sorta...it's getting there I think. I just want one night...just one where I am able to sleep all the way through without waking up. I've had them before...I know that they're possible....I just need some of them before I get sick.
Hopefully you'll wind down soon now. I don't mind slow that much unless I'm exhausted, so I'll take it.
Must be a nice break for you. I'm kinda dreading going back without Sandy Monday...but I know I can handle it, and there's the whole off at 3:30 thing so that's good. Sandy is sure she's gonna be back Tuesday...but I'm worried about her rushing through her recovery....like I usually do. She's a lot like me in lots of ways....I just don't want her to make the mistake of rushing her recovery and ending up with more problems...ya know? I've never known anyone else that's had para thyroid surgery so I don't have anything to compare it to....but I've had plenty of surgeries and stuff to know that there is no such thing as a "small surgery" and that if you don't take the time to heal properly....there could be badness. I just don't want her to have any badness.

I am getting sick and tired of sleeping for crap. Even when I completely exhaust my body I can't get decent sleep. I don't know what I'm going to have to do in order to get some rest....I'm starting to feel desperate. Every night for over a week now I have woken up at least once during the night....sometimes several times....either from dreams, being uncomfortabl.....whatever...I'm just so tired. I'm off work and I still can't seem to get real sleep. I'm bout ready to find something to make me sleep.
I'm gonna try to go back to sleep, but I feel like my body or brain or maybe both won't let me....but I'm gonna try cuz this is ridiculous.
Nope....should have known better than that. And now I've woken up Henry....*sigh* Way to go Karen.
*Sigh* Oh well....I guess there's really no rest for the weary. Guess I'll go make breakfast. Breakfast burritos with Chorizo, eggs, and cheese it is.
Okay....so after a pretty long discussion with Henry....I have decided I might try to run the game myself. That is if anyone else is interested. A few concerns that I have though. First and foremost....lack of experience. I haven't run anything for....let's just say a really really long time and the last time I ran anything it was Netrunner and I don't really remember how that went, so I can't say that I'll be any good whatsoever. I can't promise what kind of game it will be because...well...I have no idea. I just know it's not gonna be your average stabby mcstabberson kind of game. It's gonna be mostly role playing, problem solving, and critical thinking....in silly and fun scenarios...mostly.
Also...since I don't know if I'll be any good or not, I don't anyone wasting a bunch of money on this book. I mean...it was like 35.00 bucks more or less after tax....and it's not super thick it's got like 151 pages total including the dice charts, character sheet, and a couple pages that go into other MLP merchandise you can buy for the game. You know...special dice set, bag for your tokens of friendship and the tokens themselves...you know...stuff like that. I just....it's a really new thing and I don't think there are any PDFs for it yet and if you guys are interested at all...maybe we can wait till they come out with something more easily accessible?
Right now I'm just trying to gauge interest with you guys because since this is such a new thing for me....I don't really want to bring in people that I don't know and am not comfortable with. Does that make sense? I want everyone to able to have access to it though without wasting money on something that might turn out...well sucky. I'll do my best not be horrible at it though. I'm just gonna require a lot of....feedback to know what's good and what's not and that sort of thing.
So...there it is. I've put it out there. Just let me know what your thoughts are and we can go from there.
Honestly....trying to do new stuff is really....well, it makes me really nervous...but Henry said if I never tried then I would never know if I was any good or not. If I make a horrible mess out of it I will know better for the future and never attempt anything like it again.

Okay...I'm sorry. I just have to say sorry cuz I'm tired and cranky and now I don't feel good. My eyes feel all swollen and hurting and I'm so tired I'm starting to feel sick. Like...really physically ill. Henry says I feel warm and I should take a nap...but I'm afraid of screwing myself up and not sleeping tonight when I have the WHOLE class tomorrow without Sandy. That's 11 2 1/2 year olds and 1 1 1/2 year old that are gonna be running RINGS around me if I don't get some sleep. I think I'm kinda stressing out about Sandy too because I'm worried that she's rushing her recovery because she feels bad leaving me with all that mess....I just....I don't know...I don't know how to shut it off and forget about it and I think the anxiety of it is driving me insane.
So if I seem out of sorts....please don't take it personally.

Watching Moana, trying to relax and eat a little something even though my stomach doesn't feel like it.
Loved the movie...eating was a horrible idea and I never should have done it. I think we have food poisoning and that's why we've been sick all day. I'm just not feeling good at all. Plus side, I'll lose some weight. And yes....I'm still going to work tomorrow because I have to otherwise there will be no one that knows what goes on in our room, and I just can't deal with thinking about it.

Made Hnery food. Getting in shower now. Don't know how I'll raise my arms up to wash my hair....but I'll manage somehow. I'll just need help with the drying of it.
I LOVED Moana....it just made me miss the ocean that much more though. Now I feel like I'm choking in this land locked piece of crap that they call a state.

Thanks...I think it might have helped a little bit. I just can't take water being too hot, but I did it as warm as I could. Earlier....like right after it happened, Henry rubbed down the affected muscles with some lavender massage oil that I had lying around. I really need to get more of that stuff, it really helps too...plus the four Ibuprofen I took probably helped a little too. I'm gonna try to go to bed at a decent time so that I get some rest. I'm gonna try to make it to work if I can...because if I don't it'll just look like I'm not coming in because Sandy isn't there and I don't want to. Anyways....I can't really think about all that because if I did....I would guilt myself into going anyways even if it would be better to stay home and take care of myself. I don't know...I'm just feeling very....conflicted right now and I don't think I could make up my mind right now if my life depended on it.
My mind has been made for me cuz I can't barely move now without excruciating pain sooo instead of going to work tomorrow, James is gonna take me to the Dr in the afternoon, cuz you know....I don't like getting out of debt at all.....so that he can just hopefully give me what I need without sending me to some stupid A$$hole that thinks because they have a degree in medical science they f'ing know everything.
You need to. Just go and hopefully they can do something to help you. Have you ever tried melatonin as a sleep aid?
Then I have to try to get the insurance people to send the tow truck to take the car to the muffler place in time before they close. I just have to get it done in one day....that's it.
