Announcement: I'm leaving tomorrow morning in Helsinki for about 70 hours of non-stop random gaming, chatting and having fun at Ropecon. Dear friends and fellow gamers,
I'm sorry. I let you all down by disappearing for the last two months. I'm sure that an explanation isn't much help, but to sum up, it's been the busiest two months of my life, both personally and professionally. My wife and I moved into a new house, and started making preparations there for welcoming our first child. At work, my job description has changed, and while it's taken a couple responsibilities off, it's added one very large one that has added on regular weeknight meetings that are a drain on the schedule. It's a big step for me career-wise, not something I could have turned down easily.
For my mental health, something had to go, and unfortunately it was gaming. This includes both PBP and the home game I was playing in. Today's the first day that I have even checked into the website, and it's a result of finally a) feeling a bit more settled, and b) being on vacation this week. I know that I should have stopped in to at least say, "I have to take a break," and I'm most sorry that I didn't take the time to do that. You all deserve better from me, and I didn't live up to it.
Over vacation this week, I hope to have everything caught up well enough on the personal front to be able to catch up with you all again. If you're done with me, that's a perfectly reasonable response and I totally understand. If you've got any questions, let me know, and I'll be happy to get back to you sooner this week.

If you are up for it, I'm still game to continue. If we'd wanted to replace you, we would have done it like a month ago.
For what it's worth, your timing wasn't horrible for me. I also changed job titles, which resulted in about a month and a half of full day training courses, that I only just finished up last week.

I am lead of Pathfinder Society local team at Unicon, that happens to be this weekend. I'm checking the boards daily, but not much initiative to be expected.

Tell you what, team: It sounds like all of us are having very busy July and August. I"m also going to be out of the country with very limited service from August 6 to August 20, which means that work is in beast mode right now.
I propose that we take a break for the next month to take care of all of our various life events, and perhaps regroup at the end of August. On August 24th, I'll post the next happening for the storyline, and we'll pick things up after that.
You've defeated the 5 wolves (either having died, fled, or run off), and can take any rest up actions before continuing your way to the Kobold meeting site.
Let me know if you have any questions or objections. I can keep playing between now and the 6th, but by then I'll be mostly stressed out to go on holiday.
